AVA I wake up the following morning with questions still nagging at me as I got ready for school. What’s the deal between Cade and a member of the Xaviers gang everyone believes was dead? With his head facing me, I take out one tablet, applying pressure on his cheeks to open his mouth. Letting out a frustrating sigh, I got up from the floor, taking the leftover dishes back downstairs with me. AVA Dropping the glass of water, I sit down. This time, with no presence or sign of Cade, I eat my meal enthusiastically. Rosita comes out of the kitchen just as I finish eating, her right cue to always enter a room makes me wonder if she has been watching and waiting for me the entire time.
