Upon entering the apartment, Althea remained frozen near the entrance, taking in the dusty and disheveled space, a sight that surprised her. Timothy, unaware of her hesitation, had already settled on the couch.

"Come sit, tea," he invited, but when Althea didn't join him, he turned to find her still standing, her eyes scanning the room.

"Sorry, I haven't had time to properly clean up the house," Timothy apologized, sensing her thoughts.

Althea forced a smile and approached him, sitting beside him on the couch. "That's okay, you only just got back yesterday," she assured him.

“I know how much you're a neat freak.” Timothy acknowledged, taking a seat close to her.

“Me? A neat freak?” Althea pointed at herself, a light chuckle escaping her lips.

Timothy smiled, "It's good to hear you laugh. It's been a while," he said, his voice filled with emotion, as memories of his ordeal flooded back. "Being in there, I had almost forgotten the sound of happiness or what it looked like
