17: Pointing fingers

My eyes widened in disbelief. "Alpha Ryan!" I yelled through the mind link. My chest rose and fell in shock. I knelt before her lifeless body, "Ariel?" I called in a panic, not knowing what to do.

'To the bathroom now!' I cried again when there was no response from him.

I tried to figure out what could have done this to her. There was a scent around her but I couldn't place what it was, it didn't smell like a wolf, human or even a hound this time.

I went outside the stall to check for Alpha Ryan to see if I'd spot him since he wasn't responding to any of my calls.

'Alpha Ryan, there's a dead wolf here.' I called again in panic.
