Ch209: Deagan is unconscious

After everyone had left, Deagan proceeded to take a seat as he wiped sweat off his head.

Malden looked at him and creased his brows. Of course, he had been observing him from the time he got off the bed.

"Are you okay?" He asked and walked towards him.

And Deagan nodded his head continuously. "Yes, I am okay," he said, trying to put on a smile. "You keep mom company..."

He could not just tell them that his body was not okay. The truth was that he was trying to act well from the very beginning. He had already felt the change in his body.

But Talia shook her head. "You are not fine," she said. "The blood you gave us was way too much."

"I am fine," Deagan said and stood up. He wanted to go to his room and take a rest. He was telling himself that he would feel better once he woke up.
