Ch208: Awake 2

It was Talia, Sunna's mom and Malden's wife that was the first to wake up.

With confusion all over, she looked up, and a smile formed on her lips when she saw Malden.

"Baby," she called and took a step forward.

Malden was shocked. "You remember me?" He asked. He had not expected that she would still remember him after all that while.

"Of course!" Talia replied as she opened her hands wide for him. "I could not forget you..." Her eyes were still scanning the whole room for something else.

Malden could not contain his happiness as he pulled his wife into his embrace, hugging and kissing her. Tears of joy streamed down his face as he whispered sweet nothings in her ear.

"I missed you so much honey," he said. He had never expected that there would come a day that he would actually see her again.

Talia scanned her eyes around the room, as if searching for something. And Malden kissed her cheeks. "Our daughter is grown up now. She is safe but a bit far away. She will come home soon."
