I was woken up even earlier and with a harsher tone than usual.

“It’s time to start your duty for the day,” I had been told.

I didn’t think I was going to sleep well last night, but I ended up sleeping really well, and that was because I was tired as hell. I did have some terrible dreams about the company, something about it being raided and David wasn’t able to do anything, but even when I woke up, I didn’t do anything about it because I knew that the dream was as a reaction of the news I got.

I started working as I should, and I tried to block out any form of thought that would make me distracted, or think about the decision I made.

I didn’t want to regret anything.

And besides, it was already too late to do so.

Romiro’s guard watched me to ensure that I didn’t stop for a minute to rest or try to give the job to someone else, but I also paid him no mind. I did the task with all the rage and bitterness inside of me.
