Lucian's POV

I walked into Violet's room to find it empty. I wanted to ask her if she really wanted to join our parents for dinner outside.

Hopefully, she'll agree with me to stay at home and let them enjoy their date.

She wasn't in her room, probably getting ready in the bathroom. I turned to leave when I heard a quiet whimper.

Is she crying?

I hurried towards the bathroom where the sound was coming from but stopped right at the half-closed door.

The sounds coming from behind the door weren't sobbing sounds but lewd sounds.
