Alpha Asher kept pacing round the room, his heart was too heavy to speak out a word. He couldn't believe that Ophelia was in their midst but didn't make a move towards him.

He was expecting her to run into his arms as the Alpha king who has been taking care of her all these while, rather she stood at that point watching as the argument went on between them all.

"They're very mean, but I don't care what it will cost." He mumbled within himself.

Diana who was busy chipping on her nails lifted her face, "I had thought that you'll return with her."

She stood up from the seat she has been seating on. "If I were you, I'll just let it go. First, she isn't your mate and she doesn't love you. Second, we are talking about the Lycans here, they can devour us in a twinkle of an eye."

She moved closer to him and patted his back. "You're very lucky that they gave you due respect as the king, or maybe because their king wasn't there."
