Chapter Six

Daniel grumbled, seeing the phone go off. He couldn't believe that this was happening. Dan had always been someone who had fun in his own way and whilst doing that, he tried not to ruin the family's reputation or at least do something to get his father involved. He couldn't believe that the girl he had been obsessed with turned a really small gesture into a big of a deal.

Tossing his phone on the table angrily, Dan dashed into the adjoined bathroom in the office and changed into another pair of shirt and pants. He arranged his hair with his fingers, did a little cleanup, then came out of the bathroom. He picked up his phone where he left it, then exited his office.

After driving for almost twenty minutes, Daniel got to his parents' house. He parked the car exactly in front of the entrance door and then made his way in. The housekeeper told him his parents were in the study so he went there straight.
