Zade
I felt irritation claw around my throat as I slid into my car, then the door got closed by my driver of a few years- my longest driver so far. My mind replayed the conversation I had with Carla just now before I left the house, and one thing kept reechoing around in my head over and over again. It was the way she kept saying what was between us wasn’t real and how she didn’t feel a damn thing for me. That irritated me so much for some unknown reason and I couldn’t pantheon why, but I just know that I didn’t like that at all. I let out a sigh as I dragged a hand across my face then I glanced out the window. I was very certain that I had gotten over whatever little thing I had for her back in the past. I was more than certain of that. I know that what I felt the most for Carla was hatred, however, I just hated how she kept sounding when she kept saying she didn’t feel anything for me. I let out a long sigh and dragged a hand over my face. I was feeling so irritated because I still wasn’t sure of why I reacted that way back at the store. That had been so out of place for me and it had caught me off guard because I hadn’t even realized I had reacted that way till I was pulling her into my side. That made me feel hella perplexed. Whenever I was out with Lena, she usually hugged a lot of men in my presence and I never used to feel a single thing. However, today I wasn’t sure I could explain the kind of rage that came over me at the sight of her embracing Sebastian. Perhaps it was because I knew how shameless Sebastian is. And because I knew that Carla liked him when he was still in highschool. He was no longer the adorable boy she fell in love with back in high school. Now, he was bedding a different woman every night and he was also into gambling. Clearly, Carla didn’t know about that. That’s why I pulled her away from him, to protect her from him because she has always been blind to the bad in people since I could remember. Back then, even though our families had separated and Carla already hated me, I still kept tabs on her and that’s how I discovered that she liked Sebastian. When I discovered from her loud mouthed best friend who liked me back then, that she was planning to confess to Sebastian, I had used my influence to prevent him from attending school the next day, then I made it that his father who worked for my father’s company back then, got transferred to a different branch all of a sudden, then they had to move. Since I was young, I’ve always been used to always getting whatever I wanted. Which is why till this very moment, it’s a foreign concept for me to not get whatever I want. After the driver pulled up in the compound of my company, I alighted the car and gave him the rest of the afternoon off. ~~~ Once I got into my office I got settled in, the first thing I did was to send for Sebastian. As I waited for him to arrive, Carla’s plea before I left the house resurfaced through my mind, whereby she was asking that I don’t cause troubles for Sebastian. I let out a scoff just as a knock sounded on the door. “Come in.” I called out and moments later, the door opened and Sebastian came in, carrying a bunch of files in which he set on my desk. As I stared at him, against my will, I kept imagining Carla and him in a really tight hug, and the more I pictured it, the more my mood worsened and I realized that he had been speaking the whole time but I hadn’t been listening at all. “What was that back in the store?” I asked, swiftly cutting into what he was saying. As expected, he stiffened first before awkwardly chuckling. “I went to get something at the store, sir… and I didn’t really know that she was your woman, sir. I thought your woman was Miss Lena..,” he continued tentatively and I let out a sigh as I started to massage my forehead again. Lena came over a few times to see me here in the office and as my secretary, he was aware of her presence. “Give me your phone.” I said to him and he gulped emptily and handed the phone to me. I went into his contacts and deleted Carla’s number, knowing that I was being botheline crazy at this point but completely uncaring. Once I was done, I handed the phone to him as I spoke. “If she ever texts you, you mustn't respond. Is that understood?” He nodded fast. “Yes, of course, sir.” I nodded, although still not feeling as pleased as I expected to feel. “Good.” I breathed out before leaning forward and folding my hands together on the desk, then I cleared my throat and held his gaze. “You’re a smart man, Sebastian. Aren’t you?” I began and he nodded tensely, still holding my gaze. “Yes, of course sir.” “Good.” I said then continued. “I wouldn’t like to have a conversation like this again, so listen attentively. If you entertain any funny ideas concerning Carla, then of course you can kiss your job goodbye. I don’t care that you were in high school together, that’s in the past and has nothing to do with the present, yes?” His jaw ticked a little as he nodded once. “I understand what you mean, sir.” I nodded again. “Good. And I hope you’re aware that should I get another reason to hold this conversation with you, it means that would be the end of our work relationship.” I continued and he nodded before nodding. “Of course, sir. You won’t have a reason to bring this up again. Thank you for still giving me some grace.” He bowed as he spoke this time and I resisted the urge to roll my eyes before waving at him, a clear sign that I was dismissing him. After he left, I slumped into my seat and let out a long exhale. I felt extremely shitty, because I was clearly abusing my power as owner of this company, but I pay Sebastian very well and he’d be stupid to ever throw that away, so abusing my power doesn’t matter, right? And besides, I was only looking out for dumb Carla, even though her ass clearly doesn’t deserve it. My wedding with her would take place in a week, then my revenge plan would instantly kick into motion. I was gonna start with her ex husband, Dave, and I wouldn’t go easy on him till he’s reduced to nothing but ashes on the ground. I was more than certain that Dave would come over to my office today. After the call which I invaded in the kitchen, it was more than enough proof that he’d come over today. ~~~ When I was informed that Dave was here, I ordered for him to be sent up, then I waited for him to show up while I leisurely sipped on my drink. A brisk knock echoed on the door and I snorted, chugging down the rest of my drink before calling out for him to come in. As soon as he stepped in, hatred instantly consumed me from head to toe as I stared at him. He was fuming and clearly furious as he stalked forward. “What are you doing with Carla?! Why are you with her?!” He thundered, his veins popping in his forehead and his teeth gritted. A grin danced around my lips as I silently watched him, enjoying the sight of him starting to pace around. “Carla is too gullible to see you’re not the boy she grew up with, else she’d never willingly be with a monster like you.” He growled before he stopped his pacing. “You should leave her alone, Zade.” He said firmly this time and I scoffed as I got to my feet then rounded the desk, then I stopped a few feet away from him before speaking. “It’s now Mr. Gomez to you, Dave, and just to confirm? Aren’t you about to divorce her? You said it yourself in the news after all, so how is this any of your concern?” He folded his arms, gritting his teeth again. “Technically I’m not fully divorced from her yet, so she’s still my woman.” He hurled at me. This time, even despite me barking out a laugh, I had to physically hold myself back from punching him in the face right now. How dare he call her ‘his woman’ to my face? When he’s literally already engaged to another woman?!Carla It’s my wedding day today. If only I was a little happier today, then I might have looked forward to the wedding a little. But everything was just a mockery of my present situation. Since I had no friends left, Zade had his horrible cousins act as my brides maids, and since they never bothered to hide the fact that they disliked me, it always felt suffocating as hell in their presence, like it’s feeling right now.“Remember, Isabella would always be our choice and nod you.” One of the cousins, named Maya, gritted out as she glared at me, and I glared right back.“Well, Zade picked me so suck it up and deal with it.” I told her and the rest of the girls glowered at me.“I don’t know why our cousin decided to be with you, but I’m certain he’ll come to his senses soon, and Isabella will be waiting for him!” A different cousin snapped out this time while I rolled my eyes in irritation.Isabella.I didn’t even know of her existence till that dinner last week, which was an act
Zade’s pov My cousins, Liya and Sophie, looked like they just got slapped across the face. They blanched hard and stared between me and Carla a few times before realizing that I wasn’t joking and was dead serious. “H- how?” Sophie managed to whisper as she looksc over at Carla with disgust clearly painted across her face. Carla didn’t even look fazed, like this reaction was already a normal reaction for her. “But…” liya attempted to speak when I sighed and held a hand up. “She’s the person I’d be getting married to. I know you’re both confused, and everyone would be confused by the end of dinner tonight, but trust me on this.” I said to them, and they tried to mask their wary looks as they nodded at me. “But— I still don’t understand…” Sophie began before trailing off and letting out a long sigh, then she was nodding again and stepping back. “Everyone is waiting inside. Prepared to be grilled throughout the rest of the night.” Liya said next, then she was pulling Sophia along w
Carla “Is he even allowed to do that? To go through your phone?” I asked, still feeling so much anger shrug through me. I still couldn’t for the life of me figure out why Zade did this, and I was so annoyed right now. “Well, not really, but whenever he asks for my phone to check your texts, I’ll definitely not refuse him cause he’s my boss and he pays me quite well.” He sighed and I groaned then took a sip of my coffee cause it felt like I might lose it if u didn’t do that. “We’ll not text too much, only whenever we wanna meet up, and we’ll delete the texts right after.” I muttered, breaking the silence after a few minutes. Seb had a shocked expression he regarded me. “You’ll still wanna meet up?” He asked and I had to fight against the color slowly flooding my cheeks as I nodded. “I mean, that would certainly be nice, don’t you think so too?” I asked and he shrugged once before nodding. “It certainly sounds nice. I guess we can definitely keep seeing each other, just without Z
Carla “What?” He barked in a voice so loud and sharp, it made me flinch. I let out a slow breath and met his gaze, refusing to glance away despite how his gaze made me want to avert my gaze from how intense it was.“I said…” I began but he cut me off, his gaze narrowing and filling with anger as he slowly approached me, making my breath start to pick up.“I heard what you said. However, it made no sense to me. What do you mean a fuck buddy?” He barked again, and this time, he was standing only a few feet away, his eyes trained on my face.I cleared my throat and squared my jaw as I responded. “I mean, I have needs like every other person, and it’s only logical got me to want to get off in the time I’ll spend in this contract marriage, so either a fuck body or a boyfriend—-”“Absolutely not!” He snapped and I frowned at him in confusion.“Huh?”“I forbade you from having either.” He affirmed and I let out a huff of disbelief while staring up at him.“I- I don’t understand… I wa
Zade Dave was fuming at this point, and I liked it very much. He pointed a hand at Carla as he spat out loudly this time. “That’s betrayal! Getting married to my enemy of all people? Tell me, Is this to get back at me? You can get married to anyone else but him!”Carla let out a laugh this time. “How audacious of you, Dave! You served me divorce papers after betraying me all over again, and yet you have the guts to feel like your opinion of feelings matters to me anymore? How dare you?”Dave stepped closer. “No, how dare you? I forbid it! You can get married to anyone but him! Do you even know who you’re getting married to? Aren’t you aware of his nickname?? He’s nicknamed ‘Devil’ for a reason. He's the Devil's own incarnate, so for your own sake, don’t do something stupid and ridiculous.” He paused for a moment. “If you still respect me a little, you’ll listen to me.”Carla picked up her pen again. “Well, it’s a good thing that I feel no respect for you: all I feel for you is hat
Zade “Are you trying to seduce me on purpose?” I asked and she whirled around, her eyes wide and her chest heaving. It was clear she wasn’t wearing a bra underneath the shirt either, her tits were outlined and her nipples were showing through the thin material. Her hair teamed her face and her gaze were blown wide, making a lewd mental image to settle in my head. Was that how she’d look like when in the throes of pleasure? Cheeks flushed and eyed large like they are right now?“Are you insane? Why would you think that?!” She cried out, her chest still heaving. I let out a snort as I stepped closer to her, enjoying the way she inched backward till the counter halted her retreat. She was such a sight and again, I hated to admit it but she was so beautiful, so breathtaking and so unreal. Right now, even with no makeup on and in basic sleep clothes, she looked like the sexiest woman on earth right now.My dick stirred in my pants again and I felt a wave of irritation come over me. E
