Kaylee pov

I see him quickly running towards me, and I have no other choice when I aim the gun at him and pull the trigger. The bullet hit his body over his shoulder, but it doesn't stop him, and he continues to run forward.

My heart is about to beat out of my chest when I shoot another time and another time without him stopping. Realizing I'm out of bullets, I quickly take out the next magazine and change it.

His Beta is up on his feet again and takes a step closer to the side, so he is in front of Aron before he limps closer to where the stairs are, and I have no other choice but to shoot him again when he falls to the ground and his wolf shifts back to him.

Aron's wolf still moves closer to where I stand on the top of the stairs, even if the bullets have slowed him down a bit. Aiming at him, I pull the trigger again, without him reacting too much to it.
