I thought about stopping by my mother's apartment to check on her and my wife, to see her one more time before I go out on a hunt, but something kept stopping me.

I ended up leaving the apartment building without going through with it, driving to the location we said we were going to meet up, which was a parking lot in a safe distance from the casino.

I caught Elijah's car parked in a distance, so I parked right next to him.

I saw his car doors open, not just the drivers side, but also the passenger side. And who do I see with him?

I got out of my car with a growl forming in my throat. I slammed my car shut, rounding up the front to meet them face to face.

"What the heck were you thinking bringing him here?" I snapped, glaring at Elijah and Miles.
