When Rita entered the car, she gave Chris a small smile to mask her emotions.
They rode the car in silence until they parked outside skybar.
When Rita saw the place they had come to, she looked up at Chris, confused.
“Thought you’d need a drink after that ordeal.” Chris said as he unbuckled his seat belt and stepped out of the car. Rita followed him out in silence, she was still in low spirits.
The moment Chris and Rita entered a private lounge, excited voices erupted in the air. “Surprise!!!”
Rita’s breath hitched when she saw her friends in the lounge, with a man she couldn’t recognize. She turned her gaze towards the man next to her. She didn’t know how to describe him anymore, sometimes he was cold, other times he was sweet. Most times he was playful.
‘Just which one is the real you Chris?’ As if hearing her thoughts, Chris turned and they locked eyes. Rita’s heart skipped a beat. ‘Why is he so handsome?’
