20~ Cuteness overload
The next day.
“Arrrrgh!” Rita groaned in frustration as she recalled the previous night’s activities while showering in the bathroom.
Rita couldn’t believe she let alcohol control her to that extent. What would Chris think of her now? She dreaded thinking about the aftermath of their little wild adventure.
When Rita woke up 30 minutes earlier, she had delayed in opening her eyes in fear of coming face to face with Chris. Since it was a Saturday, they were likely to both stay home.
But Rita soon realized she was alone in bed much to her relief. At least she had ample time to compose herself.
Rita’s relief only lasted a few seconds as her heart sank. Chris left just like that after what they had done last night.
“Does it mean it meant nothing to him?” Rita mumbled to herself, clearly conflicted.
She didn’t know whether to feel relieved that she didn’t have to face Chris just yet, or to feel distraught that he didn’t wait for her
