Two months later…
It was becoming cold since winter was approaching.
On a fine Wednesday morning, Rita Jones woke up feeling something warm trickling down her leg. Thinking she wanted to relieve herself, she got up and went to the bathroom.
Minutes later, she left the bathroom but the liquid continued to gush out of her.
It was only 4:00 am and Chris was still asleep so she called out to him.
“Chris! Chris! Wake up.. I think my water broke.”
As if he were a robot programmed to listen to Rita’s voice, Chris immediately woke up and rushed to his wife.
His heart began to race when he saw his wife standing in a pool of water.
