Chapter 121: A bad situation

“Dorian is alive, Christian,” he heard his mother say to him and Christian’s eyes lit up with happiness.

“Really?” Christian asked and his mother nodded as tears rolled down her eyes.

He was currently in the hospital, receiving medical attention after what had happened.

“And the woman?” He probed and his mother sighed in resignation.

“You should get some rest, Christian,” his mother said instead of answering his question, and Christian decided not to push the matter any further as his mother looked tired and so was he after what had happened.
