~Serena~

“We can’t stay much longer in this place,” Lucas cited, smearing strawberry jam on his bread.

He came prepared with drinks, instant coffee, bread, and spreads, but this won’t fuel us for the entire day. I’m grateful for the food and hot coffee warming my palms, but we need a proper meal if we are to fight our way out of this city.

Drinking coffee on a chilly morning with Lia and Declan was something I didn’t think would happen, not in this lifetime, not even in the afterlife. I swore on my life to make them pay for their betrayal. How ironic is it that I am planning an escape with them now instead of killing them myself?

Lia and I sat on the couch while Lucas and Declan sat on wooden chairs they scavenged from the other houses. They even got us a coffee table.

Lia was eerily quiet. Her rogue stench overpowering the coffee aroma doesn’t bother me that much. Being one for a year made me immune to eating with that horrid scent in the air.

  • Forever Yours, Alpha   76|Not A Dream

~Serena~I wake up with the feel of heavy arms around my waist. I don’t have to open my eyes to know who it is. His scent is all over me, and he is the only one with enough courage to embrace me like this.He holds me in a spooning position; he is behind me, his breath gently fanning the back of my neck. There is a sense of comfort in knowing that I am not alone. For five years, I had to wake up alone, sometimes inside a cold cage, and most of the time, embraced by the fear that I might not make it through the day alive. But here in Declan’s arms, the waking hours don’t terrify me, but I fear that this calm I am bathing in right now might not last.It is barely morning outside. The slow break of dawn slips through the gaps in the room’s worn-out walls, along with the crisp morning air.I was in my birthday suit under these sheets, but the heat of Declan’s body was enough to start this fire going inside me.I lay there with eyes closed, listening to his breath and the lub-dub of his he

  • Forever Yours, Alpha   75|It's the Same Reason

~Declan~This isn’t a dream, I know that, but this was beyond my reverie. Red messy hair framed her face, cheeks as red as a beetroot, lips plump and fucking kissable. I had seen all of her before, but she’s grown into a fine woman. She was perfect, but the scars on her porcelain skin twisted my guts. How the hell did she get all those scars? The story behind those marks terrifies me. I don’t wanna think about them right now. I just wanna look at Serena spread open before me as long as she will allow me to.Her chest heaved; her nipples were hard peaks, tormenting me to wrap my lips around them again. And her pussy, fuck me, she’s glistening with her release. A wetness map was underneath her. If this were truly a dream, I don’t wanna wake up from this dream anymore. She pushed up on her elbows, her body still trembling. That frown on her forehead told me she’s confused about why I’m not taking everything she’s offering me.“Is something wrong?” Her voice was a little raspy from all th

  • Forever Yours, Alpha   74|What I Want

~Serena~My back hits the wall. The deteriorating wooden planks groaned under our combined weight. Declan wound his hands around my neck, his thumb swiping over my lips, his eyes following his thumb.“You… don’t tease me like that,” his voice was a low growl. “I’ve been trying so damn hard to control myself.”I held onto his arms, eyelashes fluttering as I met his gaze. “Control? That’s overrated, don’t you think?”He groaned as if the last shred of his control snapped. He lowered his lips to mine, molten desire instantly wound around us like a knot made of steel. This kiss just sealed the mate bond, and we both know there’s no going back from this.Declan slanted his mouth, his insistent tongue weaving between my lips, tasting every nook and cranny of my mouth. My mind tips over the edge with dizzying desire. It made my heart pound, my insides tighten, and everything around me became meaningless. He caged me with his hands and his body. I've got nowhere to go, and I don’t have plans

  • Forever Yours, Alpha   73|Make Me

~Serena~Nostalgia ran me over like a boulder rolling down the hills as the three of us ran on the sewer. The population of rodents and vermin living under the city scurried away from the disturbance created by our heavy and hurried footsteps. After Lia killed all of Obsidian’s men, we went out to the streets and slipped under the sewer. This was Lucas’ bright idea of masking Lia’s scent. I wouldn’t have thought of this.Lia was running behind me; Declan was leading the way. It stinks down here. The darkness of the tunnels can not hide the fact that the water was dark and murky; my sandals were no use against the insipid drainage of the city. The street was busy above us, as loud as the nostalgia spiralling down my spine.I used to run in the forest with Lia and Declan. They would run in their human form just to accommodate the wolfless me.We blindly followed Declan. We couldn’t see far ahead of us apart from his broad and rigid back. This sewer could only fit one person. Declan does

  • Forever Yours, Alpha   72|With A Purpose

~Serena~Lia’s declarations were almost comical, a pathetic punchline she sells for a thousand bucks per seat at her not-so-comedic bar.Gerald? He planned all of this? I knew he hated Declan; he hated me; in fact, he hated the entire world, but I didn’t perceive his hate could be this destructive. But circling back into the past, Lia’s words made little sense. If Gerald wanted to be a Rogue Alpha, wouldn’t Oliver know about this?Despite my hatred for Oliver, I still recognize his wisdom and judgment as Alpha. A sin like what Lia painted Gerald had committed wouldn’t slip from someone of Oliver’s caliber. And then, something Lia said when she saw me made sense. She knew I was alive. If her accusations about Gerald are true, he already knows I am alive. He’d known for a while now, and there’s a huge possibility that he knows I am here with his son.I hoist my gaze to Lia, eyes wide and worried. “They know we’re here.”Lia’s face turned somber as the echo of hurried footsteps, a sicken
