Alison’s POV

I need my mom, I miss her so much. It’s in times like these that I wish she hadn’t betrayed me like she did. I called in sick and excused myself from work and reeled in pain in my bed, when I couldn’t take it anymore, I called my mother.

It hurts that everyone else has hurt and abandoned me. Roberta was also giving me the cold shoulder, I needed someone and my mother was the only one I could think of.

“Can you please come over? I’m sick.” I pleaded with her over the phone. She must have flown here because she arrived about 30 minutes after the call, and barged into my room.

I don’t know what happened, but I burst into tears as soon as I saw her face. She trotted to my side, hugged me, and then quickly let go.

“You’re so warm and your face… What's wrong? Let’s go to the hospital.” She said, packing up my stuff.
