Chapter 9

Mia's phone beeped. It's a message from Adam.

__Do you have time? Do you want to eat lunch with me later today?__

Mia didn't have any appointment that day so she agreed to have lunch with him.

__Let's meet at 1:00 then__, She texted him.

When Adam saw the message, he confirmed his guess that Mia still liked him. It's like she couldn't wait to have dinner with him. He asked her out to lunch and she agreed immediately.

" Well, First love doesn't fade easily", he said feeling smug. In as much as she still likes him, it will be easy for him to woo her.

He decided to get a gift for her.

Mia was surprised when she entered the restaurant and was led to a private booth.

Isn't it just lunch? Why did it have to be a private booth?

She opened the door and entered. There were just two seats in the room facing each other. There is a bottle of wine on the table and glasses. There is a small bowl of fruits on the table too.

Adam stood up when she entered.
