TWO WEEKS LATER.....

She had given me an answer and maybe one or two more, and yet, I still am not satisfied.

Two weeks had passed and my mind can't seem to move away from being curious. We had talked, my mother and I, somewhat, if I can describe it to that extent. Now knowing that she used to live here when she was young, even if it was for a short while, a part of me felt a little saddened that she felt the need to keep this information from me. She has claimed that this town is where she felt most safe for both of us, given one of the reasons we moved, but a big part of me can't help but disagree.

It's a little frustrating to not be able to pin point at the real reason as to why I feel a little on edge, about this town being claimed safe. I guess it comes from experience and moving on from those memories, might be a struggle on its own.
