First Day of Christmas- Book One- Chapter Twenty

I finally slept peacefully that night and dreamed of a grand wedding. I was now looking forward to it, as I cannot imagine ever being apart from Galen. He is my entire being, my life, my very existence, and I am his. I was lying in bed thinking of everything and smiled. The very thought of seeing Galen brought tingles through my body. I stretched and sat up when something caught my eye. Sitting on the bedside table was a present. I picked it up and saw the card which read.

I smiled as I opened the present and saw a silver necklace. It was of two hearts with diamonds entwined as one. “Well, it is not a partridge in a pear tree,” I said to myself giggling with joy. I undid the clasp and put the necklace on; then I got up changed and brushed my hair then ran out to find Galen. Seeing him in the living room standing and chatting with my mom, I ran straight into his arms and gave him a big kiss.
