Chapter 56 Silent Tasks

Ethan did not even ask where they were going. He silently took Lexy’s lead and realized they were heading to the school cafeteria. He did not mind. Because being with his baby girl would practically do more than just fine. All that matters most was being with her.

Lexy was still blushing despite pretending to be nonchalant that the attractive and eye-catching man walking beside her was the very reason her foolish heart was frantic at the moment. She tried to look cold like she would usually be, but anyone who knew Lexy well would notice the difference in her behavior compared to how she would usually do.

“Is he who I think he is?” asked Dina when she noticed Lexy looking a bit off, but not in a bad way. It was even amusing to see her in such a fine kettle of fish.

“Hi!” Ethan answered when Lexy did not say anything. His smile broadened recognizing the other girl’s face from the footage camera he had seen countless times before he found Lexy.
