Chapter 33

Jennet turned to the attendant, “I need shoes for him as well.” Hue was still in his furry slippers and, it was an odd spectacle. She does not want him to be a laughing stock although, she is to be blamed for it.

As she waited for the attendant to return, she looked about and noticed that the store was half-flocked by women. Their presence outnumbered the men in the store and, she felt unhappy about the situation.

While she mulled alone outside the fitting room, she prayed for their shopping to go as smooth as she hoped for. Only God knew how much she wished to drag Hue home and keep him away from everyone, especially women that looked at him with a lustful gaze. At the same time, she wished that no one would faint when they laid their eyes on him.
