Chapter 16 - The talk
Henry POV
Abbey is still asleep when I wake up. She has her back turned to me. I lean to her and kiss her cheek as I get up and walk to the bathroom. I turn the shower on and get in. I don’t wait for the water to get hot. I let the cold water hit my face and then when it starts to warm up I allow my body to relax under the shower.
I can’t stop thinking about what my dad said. Why does he want me to break up with Abbey? I take a deep breath as I focus on the task in hand.
