Alice POV
Harry ends the call and I take a deep breath placing my phone inside my backpack. I put my coat on and I start walking out of the hospital.
“Bye” - I say as I pass the midwife desk
“Are you on shift tomorrow?” - one of the girls ask
“Yeah. I’m doing the evening” - I say blowing her a kiss and walking out of the maternity ward.
I walk to the lift and I press the button. The doors open and I look up to see Dave staring at me.
I turn around to go through the stairs and he grabs my arm.
I shake it and he drops it lifting both his hands in surrender.
