~~~Past Wind~~~
"Don't stress around, eat healthy food, follow your meditation on time, do regular checkups and one more thing don't do any work that hurt you and the baby." I heard Kayish lecturing to his sister about being careful.
Yesterday Rachel informed us that she is pregnant with a healthy baby and when I asked about how far she told eight weeks along. Kayish is so happy when he heard the news and went to cloud nine. He, going to become an uncle, made him nervous and excited at the same time.
He continued his lectures about what to do and don't to do as he is a doctor and an expert for advising pregnant women.
I pulled the bedsheets over my head and wrapped my arm around his waist. My eyelids get heavy and I closed my eyes. I didn't get enough sleep at night; he was so rough yesterday it's seemed like a punishment.
Punishment for what?
I'm ready to murder him after what I had heard from Harith. I closed my eyes and inhaled deeply to calm my nerve otherwise the CEO of the Global Institute of Technology is no more alive. "He is busy, not now." Harith grabbed my hand when I was about to take a step towards his office. "I don't care." I said and looked down at my hand when I noticed he didn't release my hand from his strong grip. "He is not in his right mind; he has already fired ten employees who were working under the financial department just because they failed to submit the report on time. So it's not a good time for an argument. It will affect us more." He warned me again. "If he wants to fire me then he can, I don't care." I gritted my teeth while gradually saying every word but somehow he seemed calm which caused me to narrow my eyes at him. "Are you kidding me? He never likes the idea of firing you at le
"What do you think? You can stay away from me just because she is helping you through your whole nonsense. Huh? I can see the harness in her eyes whenever she was working with me. I wonder what you told her about your past... I mean our relationship." He raised his brow. Now thing makes sense that why he fired her. Because she is the one who dared to come between us and he didn't like the way she was acting as my favour. So he fired her and if she is no longer between us, he will get his stinky attitudes on me. Harith is right. Juliet lost her job because of me, why didn't I think of it earlier that he is capable of doing whatever he wants even if it cost a life to get back whatever is rightfully his. "You shouldn't have done this to her. Her family is depending on her. She.. she just...please." I pleaded with him even though I hate this moment. For now, I wished the earth would open his mouth and sw
~~~~ We are in the middle of the book.~~~~ Finally, after days and days of hard work, our senior year exams were over. We were free from what we call hellhole. I was so excited to see him again and tell him the news that would change our lives forever.
I'm in my office doing work peacefully without any disturbance but when I thought about peace my phone started to ring. I groaned and took the phone from my purse but it's not him, it's from an unknown number. He used to call me whenever he wants. Hundred times Idiot! If it's not him then who is calling me? I furrowed my brow and put the phone on silent before getting back to my work. If Juliet was here, I wouldn't feel this stress. These works are eating me alive. Juliet is still upset and after talking with him, I didn't dare to ask for any help from anyone especially with her. I don't want to take the risk again and she needs some space too. These days I did all work by myself without anyone's help. The first two days were a heavy headache and now I'm getting used to this. I snapped out of my thoughts when my phone started to vibrate on my table. This
"Claire." I called her name and ran after her. "Claire wait... Listen to me." I grabbed her shoulder and turned her to look at my face. Wow!! She is beyond beautiful. I couldn't take off my eyes from her extreme beauty. Her creamy skin is shining with armour in a dim light adding her beauty more. For a second, I fell under her spell. "What do you want now?" Her hazel eyes looked deep into my soul digging every champers in my heart trying to find the intention behind why I was hurting her four years ago. When Kayish dumped me, she offered me to go with her home and live with her parents. I love her family but not wanting to become a burden to anyone, I ran away without saying any words when she went to the medical shop to buy an Aspirin for my pounding headache. One thing she doesn't know that I was pregnant with Kayish's baby. As a
Not having enough mood to touch the food, I looked through the window to let my mind wander around somewhere, but my mind brought last night memories of us which are mercilessly haunting me every now and then. Did it happen? Or is it my hallucinations? But it felt real. A single tear rolled down my cheeks. It shouldn't have happened. How I ended up in this mess? Why the f**k my legs carried me to the unknown place and why the f**k did I decide to drink? Why? Why? Why? Lots of questions popped onto my mind leaving me no answer and a pounding headache. On the other hand, Sweety is still angry with me. She didn't utter any words since I returned to our apartment early in the morning. She was so upset when I didn't return back as I promised. I fed her breakfast and she went to play with other kids. Miss. Jaden informed me that she ha
I heard a soft knock on my door. Who is at this time? I have no visitor today. "It may be Juliet." I said to myself and walked towards the door wiping my face with my bare hands. I unlocked the door before saying, "come in, the door is open now." And walked towards the bathroom to wash my face. "What happened to you? Are you okay? Why are you crying? Is the little bunny.." I stopped on my track and turned my head to find the owner of that voice and found myself broke into pieces than I was already. "Why are you here?" I asked in my most calm tone. "I just wanted to check you out. Cause.. cause you are not with me when I woke up..." "What nonsense are you talking about?" I barely raised my voice. "Riya, I remember everything--- I mean you were with me but again when I woke up, you are nowhere to be found
I felt a smooth feather-like touch on my head caressing my hair so affectionately and passionately. I leaned forward for her touch and a smile crept on my face. Definitely, she is the cure for my pain. I wrapped my hand around her small waist and drew her closer to mine. "Mommy, you are awake?" She giggled in her sweet angelic voice. "No, Mommy wants to sleep more," I said in my husky voice and buried my face deep into the pillow. "No...You were asleep for an hour, now wake up..." She shrieked in her high-pitched tone. "Sweety.." I whined like a child covering both my ears with my pillow. "Now be a good girl and wake up." She climbed out of the bed and stood beside me putting her hands on her hips, narrowing her eyes on me. It reminds me of my mom. She used to wake me up when I was a kid, too lazy to drag my lazy ass out. &n
