Thoughts of that night with Leo on the street hugging me were all I had been able to think about for the past week. I wasn't supposed to be in love with him but seeing him with that woman made me lose my mind worse than my parent's decision to marry me off to the highest bidder among their friends.

The fact that I had not thought about Damien since we broke up made me wonder if I ever truly loved him.

I let out a sigh as I began to get settled into my cheap hotel across town. I had moved out of the hotel I had been staying at because I had exhausted my reservation days and I also didn't have much left to pay for it.

I plopped down on the bed and winced at its hardness. It felt like I had just sat down on a rock.
