Elena's POV.

I was nervous as we were driving home.

I needed to run.

I was aware that he had watched the interview and, of course, had noted that, rather than trying to atone for my actions, I had spoken clean and didn't care who heard.

Was he enraged and upset with me for hurting his public image? It was a good thing.

Given that this is what I had always desired, wouldn't he want to remove me from his life?

But then Matteo didn't deserve any of this. I didn't know what to do and wasn't prepared to begin again with my daughter

Sending her quick gratitude, I raced into the room.

I love how Nico supports Elena and boosts her confidence. I'm sure he felt said that she reverted back to thinking she would get injured. They could be such a sweet and powerful family. Love this direction....
