Sitting there for a few minutes, Michael came into the room. Jade didn’t want to move; she just wanted to find a hole and die in it. “So, is she?” Michael asked.
“Yes, four weeks,” Gage said pushing himself off the wall. “Let’s get you back to your room. I'll bring you some dinner in a little while,” he said grabbing Jade's arm and helping her off the table.
Jade pulled her arm out of his hold. He was the reason this was happening; he wasn’t going to touch her again. Jade tried standing on her knee, she almost lost her balance. Gage quickly scooped her up and carried her to her room. “Get out!” she growled, pointing to the door. Gage stood there for a moment before walking out. He glanced in before he closed the door.

Opening the door to Jade's bedroom, he half expected her to yell at him for anything, but she smiled, “Morning, what happened last night?” Jade said stretching her arms. “Well, what do you remember about last night?” he said setting the plate down for her. “Not much, I remember eating the food you gave me, having a fight with my mom, and then waking up here,” she whined. “Did I get drunk or something last night?” “Oh no, no you didn't,” he said. Morning peaked around; Gage was already out of bed. Jade stretched her arms and changed into the dress Gage put out for her near the fire. Her breakfast sat hot near the fire, she ate it and decided she wanted to look around the castle.
