Those were all the consolation he needed and whenever guilt wanted to creep in, he simply held on to the expressions on his sisters' faces if he could provide for them.

At first, he would feel a bit hurt when a lady he had probably spent the night with or had a moment with, saw him the next day and pretended as if she didn't know him in the presence of her friends.

But as time went on, he accepted it as the way things were, that way he didn't feel guilty anymore when they bought his time to give them a good time.
