Chapter 4

I was in my sitting room pacing around anxiously. I have been calling and texting Liam for a few days now but he never responded. Out of nowhere he called me today, some hours earlier and said he wanted to come over. He ghosted me and now he is requesting to come here?. After his wife showed up at my office for the divorce, i have wanted to talk to him about it, but wasn't able to reach him for some reason. I needed to know the truth about him. Am I being played

“Hey, baby” Liam greeted as he walked into the room.

He came over and tried to kiss me but I just turned my face to the side letting his kiss fall on my cheek. Seeing this he paused and looked at me as if questioning me.

"You shouldn't be here" I said to him with a straight face, watching his reaction.

He took a step back from where I was standing in other to get a better view of my face.

“What do you mean?” he asked examining me

"I mean, you need to leave" I said looking right at him.

I have been through enough for this guy.
