The Big Vampire...

I took my bath quickly in fear. While I was in the bathroom, I thought of only ghosts. It seemed there was one present in the room, Waiting for me to be alone.

When I came out of the bathroom with the cloth wrapped around me, Alissa was still there. I was relieved.

She called for the other maids and they dressed me up. The Royal makeup artist came to lighten my face. She was afraid the whole time and I could tell from her trembling hands that this was her first in prince Ivar's room.

(Seems I was not the only who was scared)

After two hours, I was done with the dressing and making up. My red dress stood out in the room. It went along with my red hair which was packed in to a pony tail style.

Alissa told me that I looked like the first queen of Aragón. I wondered how she knew about the ancestors of the land that destroyed hers.

We went downstairs together. I could hear music sounds coming from the other side of the palace.

“What is happening there?” I asked as my eyes traveled around. The harem was empty. We were the only ones left here.

“It's your wedding reception. You will love it, my lady” Alissa said, excitedly. There was nothing to be happy about here. I was been celebrated because of prince Ivar. Again, he added another useless woman to his harem! Only God knew how many we were.

The Empress walked in to the harem with her eyes darted forth and back. When she drew closed, her face was full of anxiety, I knew that this was one of my worst moment. “What are you still doing here?”

“Your highness, I don't Know what to do next”  I held my gown with my two hands and curtsied.

“Alissa take her to the hall, the guests are waiting” She ignored me. “Is the prince back?”

“No, your highness” Alissa answered. The empress moved to the left and right , then left again. She went upstairs confused. I wondered what was going on. Was the prince missing?

(I wish so)

The Author POV.

Its was a rainy season and the weather was obvious. Drops of rain dropped on the bare ground, cleaning the footprints of mammals.

A man and woman could be seen lying on a greenish grasses with their faces up.

“Are we going back to the palace today?” She asked ,  seductively.

“Keep quiet , Elizabeth” The man answered, opening his eyes. He was trying to concentrate but she was distracting him.

He was wearing a black garment and a trouser to match; the  sleeves folded up to his elbows while his hands tucked into his garment pockets, the opened garment showed the toned chest apparent between the folds of black silk. A black jacket was lying across the hills.

He appeared to be in his early twenties. His features best described as sharp with his pointed nose, deep black eyes, strong jawline, and thin, attractive lips. His skin was fair and looked radiant, reflecting the meagre amount of light emanating from the shaded lights which hung in the gazebo.

His frame conveyed strength. His black hair damp and messy because of the rain and hung down over his eyes. His face was expressionless as he stared off into the dark. His eyes blinked, but it was a slow, emotionless flutter of eyelashes

“I want to know if you want to go back and spend the night with her” Elizabeth followed him behind, as he stood up from the grass. Her hair was loosed and she held the ribbon tightly.

“If you don’t keep quiet, I will be forced to silence you” the man said with a frown that showed that he was irritated with her talks.

Elizabeth wanted to apologize but it might bring another fight between them and this was not the best time to start a fight. A new woman in Ivar’s life was a slap to her face.

Just when she managed to make him to like her again, a woman appeared from nowhere.

“Hurry up” prince Ivar whispered as they walked down the woods. There were no sight of human because of the fear of monsters. -he was the monster.

Before she could tell. With primal powers, he raced in to the bushes and went to the road. Elizabeth was not fast as prince Ivar but she managed to catch up with him.

He already got hold of a human. It’s was a female. The young girl begged for mercy but the prince was adamant. They were hungry and needed to feed before dusk.

"Please, let me go" The prey said to the predator who held her neck tight.

“No” he answered.

She knew it was too late for that as prince Ivar pulled the v necked of her hood. His curved fangs made a  wet slick as they slide down his gums. Then he lowered his head opened his mouth wide and  with a groan from deep in his gut, brought his fangs down. Pierced the pale skin and sank the sharp fangs  deep into the girls throat.

We stopped at a giant door. Alissa knocked and the guard opened the door for us. I walked in to the hall with my hands in front. The dinning hall was the biggest I have ever since. It is your first night with the prince.”I looked at them pitifully. They did not know the man who they called Ivar. He was wicked and heartless.
