EMILIO'S POV

I woke up really early before she did and sat down at the edge of the bed with the duvet wrapped around me. I could not believe myself and the fact that I had gone down that path again. To think that I would still freely cheat on Samantha despite what had happened between us was still very much unreal to me. I could not believe myself as a wave of guilt washed down my spine. I cradled my head in my hands as I let off a long sigh.

"Emilio, you punk, what have you done again?" I asked myself.

I caught sight of my phone by the nightstand and reached for it in vain hope that Sam would have left me a message that she was back. That dream, unfortunately, would never be a reality as save from business related stuff, there was nothing to see here. I got off the bed and dropped off the phone on the nightstand as I went to her kitchen to get myself a glass of water.
