SAMANTHA'S POV

Well then, I pocketed the phone after I had spent the time watching it ring out. Clearly, the pain Emilio had caused me was so massive that I could not begin to fathom forgetting it. Somehow, it had been really satisfying to watch the phone ring with his name on it and not pick up. It was straight to the restaurant for me instantly as I entered.

"Samantha?" Biggie called out to me.

"In the flesh." I said as I stepped in, bringing a smile to my face.

"I can't believe it!!! How many years has it been?" He asked as he came around to hug me with those big hands.

I was nearly moved to tears when he did that as I had not the inkling that I needed a hug so badly.

"I missed you too, Biggie." I said to him,

"I don't believe you. You left us without thinking twice." He said to me,

"Sam?" Matt called out to me.

"I'll deal with you after I am done with all of this. When did you get in?" He asked me.
