LORENZO VINCENT

The moment I pulled into the parking lot, guilt settled on me. It was like it was staring me in the face, bashing me for lying to Giulia, and the worst part? And for ending up here.

I stared at my wristwatch, clenching my teeth hard.

“It’s just for a minute,” I muttered to myself. As if that was going to shut up what my brain screamed at me:That’s a d*mn lie, Ren.

I stepped out of the car and shoved on my glasses, just in case anyone decided to recognize me tonight.

The hotel doors slid open as I walked in. The attendant greeted me with a brief smile... one of those smiles that made it feel like she’d been expecting me.

The thought hit me again. Should I just turn back? What the hell is even wrong with me?

“Hello, sir,” she said softly. “Would you like to book a room, or are you here for a visit?” Her voice was warm and gentle.

I forced a smile, gave a small nod. “Yeah. A visit.”

“Okay. What room?” she asked, already tapping on the mini tablet in front of her.

LORENZO VINCENTThe moment I stared into her eyes, I couldn’t think straight anymore. The evidence was real, she was definitely hiding something. But damn, just when I thought I could finally get the truth, my heart kicked up with a storm of questions. Was I the one overthinking things? Or was she really hiding something from me?Her memory, of course, is still a little fuzzy. I’m happy she remembers me, and she just suddenly flipped into a different version of herself. I wanted it to last… to remain that way.But fu*k, the old me can’t take the fact that I’m being played. My eyes glared at her like I could hurt her, but deep down, I couldn’t even lay a finger on her, not even a single strand of her damp hair.“Call her now!” I said, still pushing for answers. If I didn’t convince myself now, I’d keep living with this doubt inside me.She hesitated, then slowly dialed the last contact. It didn’t take a second before the customer care line spoke:“The number you are calling is not reac

CAMILLA RYDERThe moment I ended the call, I felt Lorenzo, behind me.For a moment, my heart skipped a beat. My fingers trembled a little.Still, I turned slowly, masking a calm smile as I faced him. He was right there by the door, staring at me with a storm of questions in his eyes, questions he was dying to ask me.He looked confused… angry… but still under my spell. I had him wrapped around my finger. I was just getting started, and he couldn't catch on. Not yet.I stepped toward him, gently reaching for his hand.He shoved it away.Right...In a flash, he slammed me against the cold wall. My back hit hard. My breath caught. His eyes locked onto mine, fire raging behind them. My heart pounded. He pinned both my hands above my head, pressing them firmly to the wall. His lips parted, his breath hot and uneven on my face, he was past furious. One wrong word, and he’d explode.Yet, I can't afford to let him see through me. Not yet..."I’m going to ask you something," he growled. "And y

LIAM RYDERI stared at the seven aging men seated in front of me, the same men I’d nearly sold my soul to win over. I’d racked up over a hundred million naira in debt just to secure the CEO position and gain their loyalty. Now, they had the audacity to tell me there was still one more person; a majority shareholder, whose favor I need to win? Were they joking?I sacrificed everything for these wrinkled puppets, and now they want to string me along because they know I’m vulnerable?Especially at this critical moment when the company is about to crumble..."Mr. Liam," Thompson spoke first. Of course, it had to be him, Camilla’s former lapdog. Betrayal came naturally to men like him. Greedy, spineless, slippery and cunning.“Just yesterday, the market stats dropped. Share values are plunging. If you don’t comply, we risk losing our major shareholder. You can’t let that happen,” he said, his voice flat like he wasn’t personally invested.I rubbed my face, biting down the rage, and met his

VINCENZO CASTILLOShe stormed toward me, her heels clicking with fury, and then, she leaned in, so close that the shadows no longer hid her face.My heart dropped. My eyes struggled to believe what was staring at me.Linda?Lorenzo’s maid? Her lips curved into a cold smirk. “Surprised?” she asked, her voice flat but dripping with satisfaction. She was savoring the shock written all over my face.I tried to turn away, refusing to meet her gaze, but she didn’t have it. Her fingers gripped my jaw, forcing my eyes back to hers.Caterina was Linda. And I hadn’t seen it.All those days, all that proximity, I never recognized her. But now that I did... everything hit at once.I had never been loyal to Celestino because I respected him. I loathed him. I only stayed with her father because of her.He was a monster. He bought children, used them as tools to peddle drugs, trained us to endure pain like it was second nature. I bled and killed for him before I even knew what a childhood was.But Ca

  • HER ROYAL MAFIA   YOUNG MISTRESS REVEALED

VINCENZO CASTILLOThe door creaked open.A girl stepped in, balancing a tray in her hands, her gaze fixed everywhere but on me. She moved swiftly, kneeling beside the bed I was still tied to like some science experiment. My eyes followed her, but she didn’t glance back. Her silence was louder than her footsteps.D*mn!. Another day had passed. Still no sign of the girl with the familiar voice. She carefully dipped a cotton ball into a clear liquid and pulled out a pair of scissors. I just watched her.“Hey,” I rasped, my voice low but clear. She finally looked at me briefly, then returned to her tray, placing the damp cotton directly on my burn near the shoulder.“Ah—sh*t! Hey, easy! "That hurts!” I flinched hard. Her lips twitched.Wow... She snickered. Well, she wasn’t mute after all.“What’s your name?” I asked, watching her as she casually picked up the scissors again. No answer. Just a frown as she clipped away dead skin with too much enthusiasm.“Ahi!—Cazzo!... I’m not made of wo
