Chapter Eighty Eight: The Invitation She Couldn’t Refuse

Trinity’s POV

I could still feel the echo of Liam’s lips against mine hours later.

The softness of the kiss. The steadiness of his hands. The quiet warmth that had bloomed in my chest before reason had the chance to snuff it out.

I’d replayed it more times than I wanted to admit, each time trying to make sense of it. Liam wasn’t like his brothers—he wasn’t all sharp edges and sudden storms. He was calm. Gentle. The one who smiled at me even when I felt like an intruder in their home.

And now, after one kiss, everything between us felt… different.

Too different.

I was still turning it over in my mind when I turned a corner and nearly collided with Alpha Nader.

“Trinity,” he said with that deep, deliberate voice of his. “Perfect timing. I was just coming to find you.”

I stepped back. “Is something wrong?”

“Not at all,” he said. “In fact, I have an invitation for you.”

I frowned. “An invitation?”

He nodded once. “We’ll be visiting Alpha Caelum’s pack tomorrow. I want you to come with us.

  • HIDDEN HOWL   Chapter Ninety: The Lounge

Trinity’s POVThe room they gave me was bigger than my old bedroom back at the palace—high ceilings draped in pale silks, an ornate bed with a canopy so sheer it looked like mist. The scent of fresh lilies hung in the air, mixing with something deeper, older, like the lingering smoke of an extinguished candle. Sunlight spilled through tall windows, making the cream-colored furniture glow.It was beautiful, yes… but it felt foreign. Too quiet. Too still.I was standing at the foot of the bed, brushing my fingertips over the embroidered blanket, when the door opened.Xerxes stepped in, his broad frame filling the doorway. His gaze swept over the room before settling on me.“What are you doing here?” I asked, raising an eyebrow. He shrugged, but his voice was low and even. “Just making sure you’re okay.”There was something in his tone—something guarded. His eyes lingered on me longer than necessary, scanning me like he was looking for some invisible threat.I tilted my head. “You mean y

  • HIDDEN HOWL   Chapter Eighty Nine: Shadows in the Green

Trinity’s POVThe drive to Alpha Caelum’s pack felt longer than it should have. My nerves kept me tense, my thoughts running circles around themselves. I’d never been to the Shadow Ridge territory before, but I’d heard the stories—how it was a wild stretch of land, lush and beautiful but unforgiving. The kind of place where you could lose yourself if you weren’t careful. When the first signs of their borders appeared, I leaned closer to the window. The scenery was breathtaking. Rolling fields of emerald grass stretched as far as the eye could see, broken only by groves of tall, silver-barked trees. The leaves shimmered under the sunlight, giving the whole place an ethereal glow.As we drove deeper, the roads curved around gentle hills and blooming gardens, wildflowers spilling their colors in waves of gold, violet, and crimson. The air itself smelled sweeter here, a mix of pine, fresh earth, and something faintly floral I couldn’t quite name. And then the palace came into view.It ros

  • HIDDEN HOWL   Chapter Eighty Seven: The Unexpected Confession

Trinity’s POVThe corridor was quiet except for the faint echo of my footsteps against the polished marble. Morning light spilled through the high windows, painting pale gold across the stone floor. I’d been lost in my own thoughts—turning over every detail of last night’s dinner, every look from the triplets, every word Alpha Caelum whispered—when I nearly walked straight into someone.“Trinity,” a familiar voice said, steady but softer than usual.I blinked up at Liam. He looked… different. Less composed than usual, like he hadn’t slept much. His dark hair was a little mussed, his usually perfect collar slightly open.“Sorry,” I said automatically, stepping back. But then he shook his head. “No. I should be the one apologizing.”I frowned. “For what?”“For last night,” he said. His voice was low, careful. “For the way I spoke to you. I lost my temper. I…” He trailed off, pressing his lips together before finishing, “I lose all my manners when I’m jealous.”My breath caught. “Jealous

Nasir’s POVThe palace hadn’t felt this tense in years.I leaned against a marble pillar just outside the main hall, arms crossed, watching servants scurry like frightened mice. Something had shifted tonight, something subtle but powerful—like a storm building just beneath the skin of the kingdom. And I could feel it. In the walls. In the air.In my bones. And it was all because of him. It started when Caelum showed up.The Silver Fang Alpha walked into the feast like he owned it—easy smile, sharp suit, eyes too calculating for my liking. At first, I told myself I was being paranoid. But then how can I forget that this was the man that poisoned my brother. He has done everything to bring us all down to our knees. He has shed so much blood, and all of that just ends? So suddenly? I was not one to be fooled easily. He was up to something. And I would appreciate that whatever it was to be away from my mate. He just had to ask Trinity to dance. The sight was repulsive. Seeing his dirty

  • HIDDEN HOWL   Chapter Eighty-Five: When Jealousy Turns to Passion

Trinity’s POVMy body was frozen in time. Still as a brick as his lips met mine.I couldn’t breathe; my lungs were no longer working. Why? Was it because I had not expected the kiss? Was it because just a single touch from him ignited all my senses? Or was this just the pure, raw power of the mate bond neither of us have come to accept?Whatever it was, I did not care.At this moment, all I cared about was the feeling of his lips on mine. Soft, intentional, and passionate. His lips moved against mine like they were on a mission. His tongue slipped into my mouth, exploring. Something about the way he hummed into the kiss ignited something within me.A gasp left my lips as his arms wrapped around my waist, his hands come down to my ass and squeezes them harshly. He pulls me more into him, until our bodies were basically inseparable. The way his hands roamed my body so greedily, I knew it wouldn’t end here.My body was hot. It was heated, hungry, aching for more of him. I do not know w
