“No, it's fine. See, I'm alright. Those little cockroaches aren't a match for me,” May reassured with a wide smile, which I mirrored.

I checked the time again, and it’s now 2:30, but Edward hadn't arrived yet. Then May tapped me, and I raised my head only to see Edward skulking around, as if he’s evading something and if I guessed correctly, it must be his wife.

May whispered his name and waved at him to let him know we were here, and he hurried toward us.

“I'm sorry, I didn't want Camille to know that I'm going somewhere because she is already fuming with anger at Alberto,” Edward explained.

“Really, what happened?” I asked.

“I think the prosecutor might order a search and seizure of the A&R Department store that she oversees because they found something,”

“That's quite bad,” May remarked.

“It's not going to be a problem. It has happened so many times, and after she fumed and whined to Alberto, everything will be sorted out with power
