ELENA'S POV

My toes were hurting in my ballet shoes.

Every step, every leap, every spin sent sharp pain through my feet, but I kept my smile fixed and my posture flawless. The theater was packed, and all eyes were on us, but especially on me as an odette, hungry eyes, admiring eyes, eyes that drank me in as though I were something more than flesh and bone.

My arms lifted, my body stretched more with a wide smile but inside I was breaking. My feet screamed, my chest ached, and all I wanted was for the music to stop. The joy they saw wasn’t mine, it was theirs, reflected back at them like a cruel trick.

The music continued to thunder through the theater, every note vibrating in my chest as my body moved with the rhythm I had rehearsed a thousand times.

Perfection hurt, sweat dripped down my spine beneath the sequined costume but still, I spun, lifted, and fell into the arms of the dance, surrendering to the music until the final note cut through the air.

The applause rose like waves, crashing against me, filling the stage with heat and adoration. I should have felt proud. I should have felt alive. That’s what every ballerina dreamed of , spotlight, perfection, devotion from strangers who would never know the cost of what they worshiped.

But beneath the glitter of the costume and the painted mask of my face, I felt nothing but the grinding ache in my body and the hollowness echoing in my chest. They were happy, entranced, maybe even in love with the illusion before them. And me? I was counting the seconds until the music ended.

I spun into the final pose, my arms curved with grace I no longer felt, and the curtain dropped. For a moment, the darkness behind the stage swallowed me whole. The applause roared on, but it was muffled now, distant, like a sound reaching me from another world.

I hurried offstage with the others, my smile collapsing the second I was out of sight. Backstage, the air was different no applause, no music, just the heavy stench of sweat, hairspray, and damp fabric. I had sweat too sliding down my temples, breath ragged, and my toes screaming as I stumbled down the narrow hall toward the bathroom.

Inside, the silence was thick. My chest rose and fell in uneven breaths as I braced my hands on the sink, staring at the mirror. My reflection looked almost foreign, painted face, wet hair clinging to my temples, eyes too bright from exhaustion and adrenaline. My reflection looked like a doll, hollow behind the makeup.

With trembling fingers, I began pulling pins from my bun, letting my hair fall heavy and damp against my shoulders. My body throbbed from the performance, but in the quiet, the ache felt sharper. I peeled the tight costume from my skin, changed quckily into a soft dress, and for a moment , just a moment I let myself believe the night was over.

I thought l was free not until when the door out of the blue creaked open. One of the assistants slipped inside and spoke immediately. “The director wants to see you. Right away.”

My stomach tightened. “Now?”

She didn’t answer, just gave me a look before disappearing again.

I swallowed hard, and tightened my coat around myself before making the long walk down the corridor. The director’s office loomed at the far end, a door I had never entered without nerves twisting my stomach. Tonight, those nerves clawed deeper. My throat dried more as I raised my hand to knock, but before I could, the door creaked open.

"Just come in",

I heard his voice then entered. As usual, the smell that hit me first was cigars, leather, and his annoying cologne. He looked up as I walked further in the room with a smile too thin to be kind.

"You can have a sit", He gestured for me to sit. My legs shook as I lowered myself into the chair.

He didn’t waste time the moment I sat down. “You danced beautifully tonight", He started. "Ah, thank you for appreciating", I smiled forcefully. "Yes you did good, did you even notice that there was someone very important in the audience. A billionaire whose eyes never left you.”

"He is one of our biggest investors", He added and I blinked confused.

“What… what does that have to do with me?”, My hands gripped the edges of my coat.

His smile widened, but it didn’t reach his eyes. “It means you’ve caught his attention. And when a man like that wants something, we give it to him. That’s how this company survives.”

I felt my blood run cold, my body stiff against the leather chair. My lips parted, but no words came.

I later shook my head, confusion and dread tangling in my chest. “I… I don’t understand—”

He cut me off, his tone turning hard and merciless.

"You know I don’t explaining myself. You either fuck him or you will no longer be a ballerina in my company." His words made me freeze for a moment. My throat went dry and my body went numb too. This wasn’t supposed to be part of the deal. I trained my whole life for the stage, not to be someone’s prostitute.

"When?" I asked, tears already forming in my eyes.

"TONIGHT."

That one word shattered everything inside me. It wasn’t a request, it was an order.

"Honestly.. I can't.. I am already exhausted...", I tried to speak but he slammed his hand on the table ,cutting me short in mid sentence.

"Elena, I don't want you to be stupid, I am doing this for you know you need this money to solve your hospital bills",

"I know ... but I am not a prostitute",

"I have already set you up in the Yellow Haven Suite. It's fifteen minutes away and you have just about one hour to meet this guy on time", My eyes snapped up immediately.

ELENA’S POVGasping in a deep breath of cold air, I tried to untangle the turmoil burning inside of me. Those emotions I locked away for the interaction were trying to claw their way out.How dare Luke talk to me like that. As if he isn't the man who preys on the ballerinas and introduces them to Dax. I was nothing more than a dancer not until when he overheard me talking about money concerns after Grandpa falling sick.He was a brilliant choreography but he was a terrible asshole. I knew he profited from the contracts with Viktor, but he didn't suffer like the dancers he coerced into the contracts did. Luke's inappropriate comments to me didn't start until after I took my first contract. His eyes had always wandered more than they should have during practice, and it seemed like he thought had a chance to have a one night with me.I don't think Luke could fathom that my standards weren't suddenly in the gutter because I was desperate to help my grandpa. If he wasn't paying for my time

ELENA'S POV.One week back in the studio, and I was already exhausted. Even with the exercises the doctor approved, it felt like I had a long way to go before I was fully recovered. Of course that didn't stop me from pushing myself beyond my limit. I didn't spend years of grueling and excruciating practices to get where I was and lose it all now.It upset me to think that a woman I didn't even know had hated me so much that she pushed me down a flight of marble stairs. The incident set me back and now since I was back in the studio, I had these memories where resentment niggled it's way into my heart.I should have been here these past few weeks. On the weekends, I should have been on the stage performing. This is who I was and what I was meant to do.One woman and her jealousy could have taken it all away. I needed to trust Andrey that she was gone, and I wouldn't have to worry about her retaliation again, but it was scary to think that I would have lost my career that night. A few w

ANDREY VOLKOV’S POVThe constant clicking of my pen was the only sound echoing through my office. I stared at the thick, charcoal-grey clouds drifting low in the sky, feeling the familiar pull in my chest, the primal urge that always surfaced when my thoughts were tangled. I squeezed the pen in my hand so hard that the plastic snapped.I dropped the broken pen onto the polished mahogany desk and leaned my head back in the chair. A low, frustrated groan escaped my throat as I rubbed my face, trying in vain to push away the thoughts of Elena, her presence clawing through my mind like a persistent scent only I could sense. No woman had ever managed to sink her claws so deep into my consciousness without even trying. It was effortless. One encounter, one glance, and she left her mark, a trace of warmth and life I could not ignore.Elena Martinez. Gentle, curious, and unshakably passionate, yet beneath that light burned a subtle, fragile sorrow I sensed immediately. In moments where she le

"Mmh," it was hard to speak while my body was singing and our lips were searching for each other in the darkness. His hand fell on my hip, holding me still as he pushed his cock against me."Speak up, baby, tell me what you want," Volkov's hand moved to my ass. He groped my flesh and pulled so hard that I felt my pussy spread and my arousal peaked from my folds onto my thighs."I want you, Volkov," I took the lead. I slipped my hand between our bodies and pushed the front of his boxers down. "I want you to fuck me," I whispered, running my finger over the tip of his cock."Gladly," He growled, a low rumble that vibrated deep in his chest as usual. Then suddenly, his grasp on my hip flipped me over. With my back now pressed into his chest, I felt his dick pulsing against the curve of my ass. His arm that had been cradling my head now wrapped up around my chest, one hand cupping my breast.Andrey shoved one of his knees between my legs and spread them apart. His free hand went to his sh

"Well since it's just the two of us here with nothing to do. I suppose I could do the right thing and help you get back to sleep," Volkov’s hand around my waist wandered until I felt his palm on my hip. Then his fingers delicately skimmed over the curve of my hip and down my thigh under the blanket."Help me get back to sleep?", I asked out of breath, just from a few simple touches."Yes, baby. Come here, take a deep breath and relax," One of his hands slipped under my head, cradling me against his chest. The other hand continued trailing over my bare thigh. It was dark, but I could feel how close his face was. His breath fanned my cheek, and I turned my head to admire the outline of his face in the pitch-black room. With his roaming hand, my legs spread in accommodation of what was coming. I didn’t need him to tell me because I could read it in his body language and hear it in his tone.Under a heavy blanket and pressed against his warm skin, my body trembled like there was ice in my

  • HIS BALLERINA HUMAN MATE   So sweet

I lost it all and halted pounding in her for a moment.Elena was mine. She knew it and I knew it.But did she know that I was also hers? That I would do anything for her if only she asked. I would help her even if it meant money. It was such a sudden realization that it knocked me off. Elena didn’t look like someone who wanted to depend on me, and I didn’t want to force her.Her saying that she belonged to me was enough. For now. My wolf purred deep inside, possessive and calm, satisfied that the woman wrapped around me had surrendered to me completely even if she didn’t understand the bond forming between us.I let go of her hair and smashed my lips again on her lips. This time, I tried to be tender with her. I wanted her to feel the things I couldn’t say. Even my thrusts slowed down, moving deep with purpose. I was filling her in the only way I knew how to show her I cared. My instincts, primal and old, whispered that this woman was becoming something sacred to me, my mate, though s
