HIS DARK DESIRES

Chapter five

Now left all alone and drenched from the rain, she slowly made her way back to the house where she got her things.

She knew she couldn't stay here.

At least to give her mother time to process everything.

With Cesar's action's, her hate towards him only increased.

As she recked her brain on what to do, that's when she received a call from Sophie her friend.

Her voice sounding in her ears when she picked up the call.

"How are you doing Lilly?" She asked for silence to reign from her.

"I'm not good. Please come pick me up"

"Alright" 

That was all she said before she came rushing to her aid.

In the car, silence reigned, Sofie who had arrived didn't say a word only looking at the disheveled state of her friend.

Up on arrival back to her place, a glass of water was offered to Lilly.

"Ready to talk now?" asked Sofie to receive a nod from her.

"Is it Cesar? Did he do something this time?" 

A tinge of curiosity laced Sofie's voice but the words that left Lilly's lips left her in awe.

"I asked for a divorce"

"What?!" She exclaimed, eyes wide open.

"I... I mean that's good but what did he say?"

At this, Lilly narrated the entire ordeal, pity filled Sofie's eyes as her hands reached out to embrace her friend.

"It's fine"

"Doesn't seem like it. I'm scared Sofie, what will he ask of me?"

"Hey now, don't think about it.

That wouldn't do you or the baby any good. Why don't you take a shower first then eat something.

You should think of your unborn child too" 

A gentle smile spread across her lips on hearing Sofie speak, her mind that raced about what Cesar could do to her finally eased up.

With a sigh leaving her lips and her shoulders straightened up  she figured there was no need to think about what he'll do to her. 

He could do a million and one things to her but he would never break her.

That night, her sleep wasn't peaceful as she dreamt of Cesar chasing her with a knife, a killing intent evident in his eyes as well as his entire being.

Just when he was about to deliver a fatal blow with the weapon in his hand, she jerked up, her eyes wide awake.

What a terrible dream it was.

It wasn't far from reality.

Her days rolled on, and like every normal day, she got ready leaving for work.

Lilly worked at a jewelry design company.

Although it wasn't a big company as they were still growing, they were the only ones that accepted to hire her even after the news of her supposed father's scandal.

For this, she was grateful.

Over the days that went by, Lilly's mind was at peace as there neither a word or sight of Cesar.

But unfortunately, her peaceful days were cut short when she received a message from Cesar.

'IT'S TIME'

The words she read tensed all her muscles making them rigid.

With eyes glued to the phone she couldn't help but tremble.

Beneath the message was an address.

He wanted her to come meet him tonight.

For long moments she stood with time seeming unfazed.

Only when an external warmth coarsing through the fingers placed on her shoulder did she snap out of the temporary trance she was placed in.

"What happened? You look like you've seen a ghost" 

The words of her friend who was also her work mate Sofie pulled her from her trance making the ridge structures of her muscles relax, her entire being now less tensed as she turned to face her. 

"He wants to see me" was all Lilly said for Sofie to know who this 'He' was.

"You want me to accompany you?"

"No, no. I can do this on my own.

It's time to finally meet end it once and for all" she said planting a smile up her lips, a smile Sofie knew all to well to be fake.

"Do call me if you are in trouble.

I'm here for you"

Said Sofie for Lilly to nod.

From there, she took a cab back home.

Upon arrival, she marched forward into the bathroom where she took a nice warm bath, before selecting casual clothes which she draped around her body and left the room heading to the location sent to her.

On arriving there, she found the place to be bustling with noise, the lightning system very radiant that it was sure to attract the onlookers.

Just as she stepped in, a lady in a white shirt and black denim skirt walked up to her.

"Mrs Lilly right?" She inquired of her for Lilly to give a nod of acknowledgement.

"Yes, this is she"

"Great, right this way.

A gift was prepared for you by Mr Donavon" 

Just when she was thinking of the reason he had brought her here, she heard the word 'gift' escape the lips of the woman before her making a cause for her brows to furrow in confusion.

Never had Cesar gifted her any sort of gift, be it a cloth, jewelry or even a mere utter of nice words.

All she received was curses and abuses from him to her.

She wouldn't lie when she said she was curious to know what this gift was.

Was it really a gift?

She wondered but what Lilly didn't know was that the gift would be an unbearable despair. 

As they walked past Both men and women where some were seen making out on their seats, they arrived at a door and pulled open, they walked in to see a black box wrapped with a red ribbon sitting on the table.

It's wrap made it all the more enticing raising her curiosity but on looking inside, her soul seemed to have died that instant for what she imagined was nothing compared to the package before her.

Her brows furrowed even more, lips parted to speak only to be disrupted when the lady spoke.

"This..."

"Ma'am, you were asked to wear this"

Staring at her was the package which had a lingerie in it.

Embarrassment flushed down her face as she realized she was meant to wear it.

"Don't you have something else to bring?" She asked the lady.

"I'm sorry but it's from Mr Donavon.

He insists you wear it but if you aren't interested, you can leave"

She said, her words only added tension to Lilly's body.

Could she really bear to leave?

She needed to end this and leaving meant that she would forever remain in this hell she so desperately hate.

But Why bring this?

What does he want with her?

Because as far as she knows, Cesar is repulsed with her body.

He made it known when he took her on the night of her wedding.

The disgust in his eyes pierced through her making her poor heart ache.

With her job fulfilled, the lady left the room closings the door behind her leaving Lilly alone to her despair.

She knew his intentions wouldn't be good when she proposed her offer.

She knew she would regret it but now was no time for regrets.

With a sigh, she took the package going to the dressing room where she changed into it.

Now standing in front of the mirror situated there, she could see her exposed skin.

The short transparent Lacey gown she wore almost did nothing to bring her comfort.

And the bra she wore was made in order for her cleavage to me seen

The air that whistled through the window hitting her made her feel totally naked making her effort to try and use her hand to cover see exposed area futile.

What was his motive in making her wear this?

After a little while, a knock sounded on the before the voice of the woman from before was heard.

Was she standing there all along?

No matter how much courage she tried to build, it always seemed to get swashed up when she takes a glance at the mirror.

How pitiful and seductive she looked right now. 

With the door pulled open, the lady stepped in.

"It's time to leave.

Mr Donavon asks for you" 

Now residing her fate In the fact that Cesar should at least be compassionate and show her mercy, She walked out the room in her attire all the while squeezing her palm tightly almost turning her knuckles white.

As she walked out the room an into the open, the appearance of some of the women she came across made her realize she looked exactly the same.

Like some prostitute doing this out of pure will.

"We are here" she announce making Lilly to raise her head that had been lowered all along.

"What?"

"We have arrived. You can go in now" she stated pointing towards the door.

The more Lilly thought about what was behind those doors, the more her heart raced, fingers clenched tightly causing pain to her.

But the pain didn't matter as it seemed to go numb because of her soaring thoughts.

Time seemed to freeze as her instincts told her to move forward while another deciding against it.

At last, she made a decision to go in, her feet slowly but steady moved in when the door was pulled open.

Darkness enveloped her eyes but readjusted on seeing the meager light shining from within.

Her steps wavered as she approached it, heart thumping, mind racing and teeth clenching.

At last she came to stand in front of him, CESAR DONAVON.

His posture like that of a king, with his dark eyes gazing at her.

She could swear she heard him scoff.

For a brief moment, she was glad it was only him here or so she thought when the lights came on to show three other men seated on different couches each side of him.

Their lingering gaze on her made her tremble, if her heart was thumping before, now it was banging on the verge to explode.

By their sides were women dressed seductively just like her trying to please them using all means.

Kissing, touching and even glances sure to trap the men's attention. 

All had a woman except for a man on the left side of Cesar.

His gaze was purely on the alcohol he was drinking but when the lights came on directed towards her, he too looked at her.

"You are here" 

Cesar's deep voice broke the silence, a smirk dancing on his lips.

"Why did you bring me here?" Said Lilly mustering as much courage as she could.

"For you to fulfill our deal" he answered, the glint in his eyes giving off a sinister look.

All Lilly wanted to do at the moment was get done with whatever he wants of her and run out of there.

She didn't want to be here for any second more.

"What will you have me do?" She said not minding the men staring at her.

"It's simple really. Seduce Mr Gu" he replied making Lilly blink in utter confusion.

"Wh...What?"

"Mr Gu just lost a very important deal worth millions"

"What do I have to do with that?" Asked Lilly.

"That's when you come in. Your job is simple really"

He looked at her, a smirk playing to lips and widening to the fullest as he leaned d back to the couch spreading his long arms.

"SEDUCE MR Gu.
