Selena's POV

╰─..★.──────────╯

⛧☾༺♰༻☽⛧

All of a sudden, everyone seemed to be staring at us. Even the couples already on the dance floor had stopped dancing and were looking our way. A spotlight illuminating my sudden descent to crazy town. Taking a deep breath, hating the attention I used to crave as Luna, I took a few steps toward him and gave him my hand.

He helped me down the stairs gently, his hand resting on my waist, the touch sending a shiver between my legs

╭──────────.★..─╮ Selena's POV ╰─..★.──────────╯ ⛧☾༺♰༻☽⛧ My foot slammed the brake so hard the Jeep lurched forward, tires shrieking against the asphalt. But the crazy fucker was still sprawled across my hood, the jerk of the jeep hadn’t affected him. He dragged one long, black claw down the black paint of the jeep, almost lovingly, as if he was signing his name into my soul. But I couldn’t tell what he was writing. My heart was beating rapidly in my chest, like it wanted to burst out. He slid off the hood without wasting much time and walked straight toward the door of the jeep. "Lock it!" Lena screamed in my mind. I didn’t need to be told twice. I rushed across the seat and grabbed the handle, yanking the door shut properly, locking it from the inside just as his thick fingers curled around the other edge of the handle. He yanked it, and his mask almost fell when he realized it was locked. He started rattling the handle hard enough to make the whole door shudder.

╭──────────.★..─╮ Selena's POV ╰─..★.──────────╯ ⛧☾༺♰༻☽⛧The sun had finally crawled up over the horizon, turning the sky a bruised pink, but I had been driving all fucking night. No sleep. No clue where I was going. Just chasing the ghost of a boy who didn’t want to be found. My hand on the wheel was numb. My neck ached like someone had used it for a punching bag, and my shoulders were knotted so tight I could barely turn my head."Let's go back, Sel. This whole road trip is stupid. I don’t think we are going to find him," Lena grumbled, her voice grating in my head. She had been at it for hours. Bitching, moaning, whining. She wasn't going to quit, was she?I tuned her out, eyes glued to the empty road stretching ahead, headlights cutting through the gray dawn. "Shut the fuck up," I snapped."What were you even thinking, you blockhead?" Lena persisted. "What can you do that the warriors can’t? I’m pretty sure they have

╭──────༺♡༻──────╮ Alpha Dominic's POV╰──────༺♡༻──────╯⛧☾༺♰༻☽⛧ Ice-cold water slammed into my face like a fucking tidal wave, flooding my nostrils and yanking me from the black void. My eyes snapped open to the dim glow of dawn, the clouds barely turning pink. The world was still half-dark.I groaned, my head throbbing as if someone had hit me with a lead pipe. The ache radiated down my spine. The ground was cold and hard against my back. Before I could piece together the fog in my brain, four figures loomed over me, staring down like judges from hell. They were masked in those cheap-ass skull covers, hiding their ugly faces. Each carried a weapon: a bat, a sword, or a goddamn crowbar. My heart rate kicked up a notch. Was this a nightmare? Then one of them swung his leg as if he could read my mind. The boot that slammed into my ribcage shattered any remaining doubt. It—it wasn't a dream. This was reality.Pain exploded through my side, sharp and brutal. I grunted, curling i

╭──────────.★..─╮ Selena's POV ╰─..★.──────────╯ ⛧☾༺♰༻☽⛧ Footsteps echoed behind me, filling my ears as Jeremiah shouted after me. "Scarlett, stop!" But I didn’t. I kept running until I burst out of the shelter and into the cool night air, with the moonlight washing everything silver. I rushed to the parking lot, which was mostly empty except for a couple of dark jeeps. I yanked open the door of the nearest jeep. The moment I settled into the driver’s seat, my eyes landed on the keys in the ignition. Like the Goddess had left them there herself. It was a jackpot. Fucking jackpot. "Thank you, moon goddess." I took a deep breath as I turned the key. The engine roared as the headlights cut through the dark. I wasn’t sure I had driven something like this before, but there was a first time for everything. "Scarlett, baby, what the fuck are you doing? Get out of the fucking car!" Jeremiah’s voice boomed, laced with fury and worry. I didn’t answer him. I slammed my foot down

╭──────────.★..─╮ Selena's POV ╰─..★.──────────╯ ⛧☾༺♰༻☽⛧ The mansion was as quiet as a graveyard after midnight. Although no one had slept, not really, except for the refugees, who had no idea what was going on. My plate was empty now, just crumbs from the cold oatmeal I had forced down while still hiding in that room. Jeremiah had left me. I hadn’t seen him since he ran out after Jacob earlier, and I wondered if they were okay. I carried my plate down the dim hallway and toward the kitchen, praying that the place would be empty so I could rinse it and get the hell out of there. As soon as I arrived in front of the kitchen door, I pushed it open and froze in my tracks at what I saw. Olivia was standing in the middle of the kitchen, wrapped tight in Derek’s arms. His big hands were splayed across her lower back, holding her like she might shatter. He pressed soft kisses to the top of her head, while her shoulders shook with silent sobs, the moonlight spilling through the

╭──────༺♡༻──────╮ Alpha Flynn's POV╰──────༺♡༻──────╯⛧☾༺♰༻☽⛧I didn’t answer him right away. My mind raced for a believable lie, something to keep that damn letter hidden.Dominic crouched, picking up a jagged piece of glass from the floor and turning it to the moonlight filtering through the broken window. "Looks like someone tried to break in," he murmured, more to himself than me.I forced a casual shrug, leaning against the sink like the room wasn't spinning. "Relax, brother. It wasn't the rogues." I let a smirk slide onto my face. "Just a monkey."His brow shot up. "A monkey?""What else could it be?" I replied, adding fuel to the bullshit. "They have been hanging around the fence line for days, stealing whatever they can reach. Guess the flood must have driven them out of the trees."Dominic opened his mouth, probably to pick apart my paper-thin story, but before he could press any further, Peter appeared in the doorway. Arms folded across his chest
