Selena's POV

⛧☾༺♰༻☽⛧

All of a sudden, everyone seemed to be staring at us. Even the couples already on the dance floor had stopped dancing and were looking our way. A spotlight illuminating my sudden descent to crazy town. Taking a deep breath, hating the attention I used to crave as Luna, I took a few steps toward him and gave him my hand.

He helped me down the stairs gently, his hand resting on my waist, the touch sending a shiver between my legs. I did my best to control myself, to not let my lustful wolf take over.

The spotlight was suddenly on us, drawing everyone's attention, and he was leading me to the middle of the dance floor. We stood there, surrounded by the gawking crowd, as he grabbed my hand and put it on his shoulder. The shoulder I had only touched in my fantasies.

The music changed, shifting to something slow, romantic, and sensual. A lot of couples began walking to the dance floor, drawn in by the spell we seemed to be

"Oh, my Goddess, Dom… so you knew. You fucking knew, and you didn't say anything all these months? I thought I was your best friend, your beta, your right-hand man! How could you keep something this serious from me? That the child she has been carrying isn't yours…" He trailed off, still holding my arm. "Goddess, Alpha, that's huge! And you have been walking around like everything is fine? This changes everything!" His words hit me like a punch to the gut. Best friend? Beta? Trust? Unwanted memories from years ago came rushing back, and all I could see was Luke's face instead of Maxwell's. My old Beta. The one I had caught balls-deep in Madison, while she denied me every night, smirking and betraying me. The anger rushed through me, hot and blinding. My vision turned red. Without thinking, I punched Maxwel

I stared down at her. She was a pink, perfect, and undeniably angry little thing. Outlaw howled in my head again, screaming blood. I blinked. "Blood? Are you on crack or something, Outlaw? We haven't touched Madison in years. Not since that morning she accused me of rape, not even on our wedding night, or when we were forced into this sham of a marriage by my mother. So how the hell is this kid our blood?" Outlaw didn't answer. He just howled blood again, louder this time, like he was broken or something. No explanation, no context. It was getting on my nerves. I didn't even know when the doctor and the nurse had left the room. Now it was just me, Madison, her ragged breathing, and the baby's nonstop cries. I turned to Madison, still sprawled on the bed, the sheets wet with

╭──────༺♡༻──────╮ Alpha Dominic's POV ╰──────༺♡༻──────╯ ⛧☾༺♰༻☽⛧ The morning sun, a welcome sight after the never-ending night, was shining over the horizon as we crossed the bridge towards the shelter. "We are here," Flynn announced, relief evident in his voice, as the jeeps screeched to a halt in front of our destination. I was the first out, my boots hitting solid ground. I froze. The sight that greeted me was overwhelming. A line of people, hundreds, maybe thousands, snaked around the front of a gigantic mansion. Shivering, soaked, clutching children, bags, and each other. Pack members I recognized mixed with faces I didn't. All refugees, all begging for entry. A female warrior stood guard, her voice strained but strong. "Calm down, everyone! There is enough room for everybody. We are just doing security checks!" Maxwell's jeep was the first to arrive, and Madison had already been rushed inside. The mansion, or rather, the shelter, was in the middle of nowhere. Acres of t

╭──────༺♡༻──────╮ Alpha Jeremiah's POV ╰──────༺♡༻──────╯ ⛧☾༺♰༻☽⛧ Jacob opened his mouth, then snapped it shut. Swallowed hard, eyes glued to the dashboard. Then, it all came spilling out. “I…I didn’t want to worry you. Or Mom. You have got enough with the pack…” His voice cracked, and he rubbed his arms like he was trying to scrub away the cold, or maybe the shame. “But after you saved me…after I thought I was going to drown in there, alone…I can’t keep it bottled up anymore. It feels like it’s killing me anyway.” I sighed and pulled over close to the pack border. Killed the engine. Turned to face him. “Keep what bottled up?” I asked, my voice soft, trying not to scare him. Jacob took a ragged breath, his eyes glassy with unshed tears. “I have been getting bullied, Dad. For years.” My blood ran cold. Bullied? My son? Bullied? “Since the heart thing as a kid. They called me ‘beep boy’ and said I was weak and should just die already. I thought it would stop when I got older, bu

╭──────༺♡༻──────╮ Alpha Jeremiah's POV╰──────༺♡༻──────╯⛧☾༺♰༻☽⛧The road to the school felt a mile longer than it should, all churned up with floodwater and potholes that threatened to swallow the jeep whole. But I finally saw it, the dark, approaching shape of the school, and I slammed on the brakes. Before I even killed the engine, I saw a duffel bag in the back seat. Not mine. I reached back, grabbed it, and dug around. Found one of my old jackets. Soaked through already, but it was better than nothing. I pulled it on over my drenched shirt, trying to ward off the bone-chilling cold.I looked out at the school, the massive gates were wide open. The windows were dark, shattered by the wind, with rain lapping against the doors. I couldn't remember the last time I had even been to this place. It seemed like a lifetime ago, when Jacob was just a kid, trying to fit in.I killed the engine, the sudden silence only amplifying the rumble of the rain. I jumped out, the floodwater h

╭──────༺♡༻──────╮ Alpha Dominic's POV ╰──────༺♡༻──────╯ ⛧☾༺♰༻☽⛧ The jeep rocked through the flood like a drunk beast, its tires half-submerged, the engine roaring against the relentless pull of the current. The rain increased, drumming on the roof like gunfire, each jolt sending ice-cold water splashing over the sides. I sat crammed in the back seat, Anna plastered to my left, Rose shivering against my right. They were trembling like leaves in the wind. Flynn was actually dozing off, slumped next to the driver. How he could sleep through this chaos was beyond me. My arms were wrapped tight around my girls, trying to pour whatever warmth I had left into them, but the cold had seeped into my bones hours ago. It was useless. In the lead jeep, Maxwell had taken over now, he was driving like a man possessed, one hand on the steering wheel, the other swatting at desperate fingers clawing at the doors. Pack members trudged chest-deep beside us, their faces pale and terrified. They w
