Mr De Vito’s room was darker than mine, larger too, and colder. But in that moment, wrapped in his arms, I barely noticed anything but the unrelenting tremble in my limbs and the storm still howling in my chest. He set me down gently on the edge of his bed, his hand lingering on my shoulder for a moment, as if afraid I might shatter if he let go.

"Wait here," he said, voice low and rough, tight with barely restrained fury. "I need to talk to my security team."

"No," I whispered, clutching his hand before he could step away. My fingers closed around his like a lifeline. My heart was pounding again. Not because of him, but because the idea of being alone—even in his room—sent panic crawling back up my spine. I glanced at the door like it might swing open any second, like the shadow might return.

He looked down at me. His jaw clenched, eyes dark and burning. He gave a short nod.

"Alright. You’re coming with me."

Still holding my hand, he helped me up. I followed him wordlessly out of the

  • HIS FORBIDDEN TEMPTATION    Chapter 122- Hope?

I sat in the silence of my office, my gaze was fixed on the phone lying on the mahogany desk, the screen still glowing faintly with George’s message: Call me. It’s urgent. For a long time, I didn’t move. My fingers twitched, hovering over the screen, wanting to call him back but paralyzed on what the call would bring back. George only called me concerning one thing. My wife. Amanda. My wife. Declared dead seven years ago. Buried in my mind like a ghost I’d tried to exorcise. But something about George’s message clawed at the edges of my sanity. I was no stranger to disappointment. Every lead I chased about Amanda’s disappearance ended in a dead end — a cold room, a broken promise, a fading hope. But this… this felt different. Like a spark in the dark, faint but undeniable. Still, I couldn’t let myself get carried away. Because every time I’d let hope bloom, it got trampled under the boots of reality. It was like that every single time. When it feels like I'm getting closer to f

  • HIS FORBIDDEN TEMPTATION    Chapter 121- It's Urgent

The whiskey burned my throat like fire, but I welcomed the sting. It grounded me, kept me from exploding. I sat there in my leather chair, legs crossed, glass in hand, while six of top my security men stood in front of me like schoolboys waiting for punishment. They looked nervous. As they should be. I swirled the liquid slowly, letting the silence stretch. None of them dared speak. "So let me get this straight," I said finally, my voice calm, too calm. "You're telling me that someone managed to push a woman down the stairs in my house. Then tried to suffocate her with a pillow. In my house. And you have nothing to show for it." No one answered. The only sound was the soft clink of the ice in my glass. I stood up slowly, the leather creaking beneath me as I rose. My footsteps echoed in the room as I walked toward them, eyes moving across each face, one by one. "This isn’t a joke. Someone tried to kill Emily. Twice." My voice dropped. "Under my roof." A flicker of guilt crossed M

I woke up to the delicious ache between my thighs, the soreness a slow, pulsing reminder of everything we did last night. Every deep thrust, every growl against my skin, every breathless whisper in my ear. My muscles protested slightly as I shifted under the sheets, my body still humming from the aftershocks of our night together. I blinked against the sunlight seeping through the half-closed curtains, then turned to the side. He wasn’t there. The space beside me was empty, the sheets slightly rumpled, still warm. My heart dropped. He left again? For a moment, disappointment curled inside me like a fist. I swallowed hard, trying to force it back, telling myself not to be stupid. Maybe he just went to the bathroom. Or to make a call. But that little voice inside me whispered otherwise. He’s always done this. He touches me like I’m everything, then disappears like I’m nothing. I sighed, pushing myself up slowly, wincing at the soreness in my hips. I bit my lip, remembering the wa

  • HIS FORBIDDEN TEMPTATION    Chapter 119- Burning Fire

My legs wrapped around his waist, my body molding against his as if we were two halves of the same fire, consuming everything in our path. His hands found my hips immediately, gripping me possessively, and I let out a low hum of satisfaction. The air between us thickened with desire, each breath a promise of what was to come. “I should really punish you,” he murmured against my lips, his voice rough and thick with need. I smirked, rolling my hips slowly, grinding just enough to let him know I was ready. “Try me.” He gave me that wolfish grin again, the kind of grin that promised trouble and pleasure in equal measure. And oh, I wanted both. Without warning, he guided my hips harder against him. I gasped, my hands tangling in the sheets behind us for leverage. His hands tightened on my waist as he began to move beneath me, slow and steady at first, testing the rhythm. I closed my eyes and let myself fall into the sensation—the way he filled me, the heat that spread from where we c

He slowly pulled out of me, and for a moment, the only sound in the room was the ragged, shared breath between us. My body trembled from the aftershocks, my thighs sticky, my heart pounding, my soul disoriented in the best kind of way.But I wasn’t done. Not even close.I caught his gaze as he sat back up, his chest still heaving. And I smiled. No—I smirked.A slow, wicked curl of my lips that made his eyes darken all over again.“What?” he asked, voice husky, low, and already suspicious.I didn’t answer.Instead, I slid off the bed, bare and glistening, and kneeled in front of him like a sinner before a god.His cock—still hard, still wet, still perfect—was right there, pulsing.I let my gaze drop to it, then back up to his eyes, deliberately slow.He watched me.He knew what I was about to do.But he didn’t know how I was going to do it.My fingers curled around the base of him, and his breath caught. Just a little.I leaned forward, close enough to kiss it, to taste him. But I didn

  • HIS FORBIDDEN TEMPTATION    Chapter 117- Danger

“Wait! I…”The word slipped out before I even knew what I was saying. He paused at the door, his hand on the handle. Then slowly, so slowly, he turned back toward me.Something in his posture shifted—subtle, primal. A ripple of energy vibrated in the air between us, and everything inside me twisted into a knot of anticipation and fear.He moved toward me like a predator—measured, composed, lethal. And I stood frozen, watching, feeling every step like it was happening inside my chest. When he stopped in front of me, we were barely an inch apart. His eyes, dark and unrelenting, searched mine.“What do you want, Emily?” His voice was quiet, but it cracked like a whip in the silence.I opened my mouth, but nothing came out. I was drowning in him—in his scent, in the heat rolling off him, in the way he looked at me like I was prey he’d been chasing for far too long.My body ached. I couldn’t think. I couldn’t breathe. The tension between us was a living thing, wrapping around my throat, my
