She was trouble. Trouble wrapped in damp skin, flushed cheeks, and the kind of curves that could ruin a man without trying.

We stepped out of the bathroom, steam following us like ghosts of what we’d just done. I handed her a towel, but she ignored it. Just turned around, gave me a look over her shoulder, and let her hips sway as she walked toward the bed.

That sway.

She knew exactly what she was doing.

My jaw tightened. "Emily..."

She didn’t answer. Just crawled onto the bed like a cat stretching in sunlight, deliberately slow. She didn’t cover herself. Didn’t hide. Her bare ass peeked at me with every little twist of her spine.

Then she moaned.

My eyes darkened.

She was on her back now, one hand sliding down between her thighs.

"I thought you said you were satisfied," I muttered, voice low, dangerous.

She licked her lips. “I lied.”

My cock twitched again—fuck, I wasn’t even fully soft, and she was already dragging me back to the edge.

Her fingers brushed her slit. Just barely.

"Emil

  • HIS FORBIDDEN TEMPTATION    Chapter 197- One Step Ahead

"Track the call. Now."My voice cracked like a whip, sharp and final. My men didn’t ask questions. They didn’t need to. The moment they heard Emily’s voice on the line, everything changed.Vincent was already on it, fingers flying across the keyboard as the data started to pour in. Carter stood beside me, jaw tight, eyes locked on the screen as if sheer willpower would make the dots align faster. Every second felt like a punch to the gut, like I was watching the clock tick down on a bomb I couldn’t defuse."We’re getting pings," Vincent muttered. "Call signal bounced off a nearby tower. Location’s rural—real isolated."I leaned over his shoulder, scanning the map. Just trees. Endless goddamn trees. A single dot blinking on a winding dirt road like a ghost signal in the middle of nowhere."It’s not exact yet," Vincent added. "Might take another few minutes to triangulate.""We don’t have a few minutes," I growled. My hand curled into a fist at my side. I could still hear her voice in m

  • HIS FORBIDDEN TEMPTATION    Chapter 196- The Lifeline

The silence pressed down on me like a weight I couldn’t shake.I sat on the edge of the bed, knees pulled up to my chest, eyes locked on the door Liam had just walked away from. He hadn’t left the room. He was still there—sitting in that damn armchair, watching me like some guardian of a twisted fairytale where I was both the princess and the prisoner. My whole body was tense, coiled tight like a spring. Every second that passed fed the wildfire of panic crawling beneath my skin. My mind screamed at me to move, to think, to fight—but I couldn’t. Not yet.And the worst part?I was so damn tired. So tired I could feel it in my bones. My head was spinning, vision slightly blurred, and my limbs felt heavier with every breath. What the hell had he given me?Whatever it was, it was still coursing through my system, and it was dragging me under like a riptide I couldn’t swim against. But I refused to sleep. Not in this place. Not with him lurking just a few feet away. I didn’t care how heavy

The USB stick burned in my pocket as I stalked out of the shop like a man possessed.Emily was gone.Stolen from me. And no one—not a single goddamn soul—had stopped it.I stormed across the square, nearly shoving people out of my way. I didn’t care. Let them stare. Let them wonder. My world was collapsing around me, and the only thing holding me together was rage."Where the hell are they?" I barked, yanking my phone out and dialing Carter's number. He answered on the first ring.“Boss?”“I need men here,” I snapped. “Now. Bring the local team. Bring whoever you can. I don’t care how far they are—get them here.”“Understood.”I hung up before he could ask why. I didn’t have time to explain. Not when every second that ticked by meant she was further away from me.Emily.God, Emily. My chest felt like it was caving in.How the hell had I let this happen?I stood at the edge of the dock, breathing hard, fists clenched at my sides. The ocean stretched out before me, vast and glittering

  • HIS FORBIDDEN TEMPTATION    Chapter 194- You're In Trouble

“You’re crazy,” I whispered, the words slipping out before I could stop them. My voice trembled, but I stood my ground. “You’ve completely lost your damn mind.”Liam didn’t flinch. He just stared at me, like I was the one being irrational. Like this whole twisted scenario made sense in his head.“I’m not crazy,” he said quietly. “I just… I can’t let you go.”I shook my head and moved toward the door. “You will let me go.”The second I tried to push past him, his arm shot out.In a flash, he grabbed me—one hand clamping around my wrist, the other wrapping around my waist—and before I could scream, I was airborne.I hit the mattress with a gasp, the air rushing from my lungs.“What the hell is wrong with you?!” I spat, scrambling up, my hair flying into my face. I tried to push past him again, but he shoved me back down with one arm. His grip wasn’t brutal, but it was strong enough to hold me in place.“Stop fighting me!” he growled.“Get your hands off me!” I screamed, writhing beneath

  • HIS FORBIDDEN TEMPTATION    Chapters 193- Waking Up

I woke up with a gasp, heart slamming against my ribs like it was trying to escape my chest.Where—?The room was dark, but not completely. A sliver of moonlight spilled through the curtains, casting soft shadows across smooth marble floors and ornate furniture. The sheets beneath me were impossibly soft. The air smelled like cedarwood and something faintly floral.Panic gripped my spine. This wasn’t anywhere I recognized.I sat up quickly, my hand flying to my chest. My skin was clammy with sweat. My heart thundered like a war drum. For a moment, I couldn’t breathe. Couldn’t think. And then it hit me—the bump. The sharp sting. The way the world had collapsed beneath me like wet paper.Someone had drugged me.I threw the sheets off and swung my legs over the side of the bed. My bare feet touched the cool floor. I wasn’t tied up. I wasn’t restrained. But that didn’t bring much comfort.Where the hell was I?Where was Lorenzo?I pressed a trembling hand to my forehead, trying to piece t

  • HIS FORBIDDEN TEMPTATION    Chapter 192- Missing

The breeze had cooled by the time I stepped away from the path and pulled out my phone.George's call came through again and I answered. “Boss.”His voice was brisk, professional as always, but I didn’t need it today. Today, I needed closure.“George,” I said, staring at the golden horizon as waves lapped gently against the docks. “I want you to shut it down.”A pause.“Shut what down?”“The investigation. My wife’s case.” The words came easier than I thought they would. “It’s over.”George was quiet for a beat, and then he sighed—but not like someone disappointed. It was a sound of relief. Like he’d been waiting years to hear me say those exact words.“Finally,” he murmured. “I mean—don’t get me wrong, sir. I would’ve kept searching until I dropped dead, if you asked me to. But… it’s good. That you’re ready.”I let out a slow breath. The air felt different now. Cleaner. Lighter. Like I’d just peeled off a skin I’d been wearing for too long.“Yeah,” I said softly. “The past should st
