Throughout the meeting he had that morning Mathew couldn't concentrate as his mind kept flicking back and forth between Mae and the assignment he gave his top bodyguard,he needed to know more about Mae's dad,the one she was so afraid off, since she wasn't saying much about herself he took it upon himself to find out, Mathew knew it was something he should have done since as a normal practice for someone you want but he kept putting off,he only took interest now that Mae had mentioned something concerning her dad and him being the reason why they can't be together.

Mathew was not a violent person but he was sure going to get violent if the news about her father rubbed him off the wrong way,lost in thought Mathew didn't hear anything anybody had said during the meeting he only regained himself when he saw people stand to leave the meeting room,
