Victoria’s POV

More tears streamed down my cheeks and fell on the picture frame I was holding in my hand. The picture was of Derick and me, smiling widely at the camera as we both held Aidan in our arms. It was Aidan's naming and crowning ceremony, and it was one of the happiest days of my life.

My heart ached, and more tears fell from my eyes as memories played in my head, both good and bad ones. I recalled how I first met Derick when I was just seventeen. I remember going to serve him a drink and how he threw it at my face. I remember when he came back to the pack with Emma and accused me of using charms on him. I recalled his accusations, but then I remembered how we fell in love with each other.
