Avelyn felt the sun was shining brighter today in Panama. She almost squealed with joy when she woke up to find Elvis sleeping next to her, hugging her possessively. She rubbed the top of Elvis's head slowly, but didn't hope to wake him up. From Elvis's face, Avelyn found many streaks of fatigue which made her worried. She was afraid that Elvis's disease would recur because the man was too tired. Seeing Elvis, Avelyn remembered her promise with Lean yesterday. How grateful she was that Elvis had returned and that she would be back on the right track. She felt a blur of orientation during her time with Lean. "What did you get?" “A pearl necklace. You?" “Bracelet with beads made of unique colorful stones. I really didn't expect our new mistress to be that kind." The hordes of servants in the luxurious mansion were showing off the gifts Avelyn had given them this morning. They joyfully tried them one by one in a special room at the back of the mansion that they had always used to gather and gossip about. A total of ten servants worked in the mansion. The ten servants have their respective duties and responsibilities according to the division of tasks made by the butler. There were three people who were employed as cooks, two were assigned to clean the right wing of the mansion, then two people worked on the left wing, while the rest served as gardeners and janitors on the second floor. Answering the call from the knocker, Avelyn immediately rolled out of her comfortable bed and left the fashion magazine still wide open on her bed. The call came from the butler at Elvis's mansion. Just five days ago Elvis had told her that Magda was the butler of his mansion. No wonder at that time Avelyn often saw Magda hanging around. Even that woman was the first to greet her very kindly when she woke up in a strange place that is now her home. "It’s time for lunch, ma’am," said Magda politely. Avelyn glanced at the clock on her wall and only then realized that she had spent hours rolling around on the bed. "I'll come down later." Avelyn replied uncertainly. "Say her to come back later!" said Lean angrily at his new receptionist officer. Wherever Evon worked, that woman always messed up his day. He should have fired her from his office and not given her a chance to work in a lower position. "The woman is presistent," replied Evon weakly. Today she has had a tough day. In an instant her position was snatched away by others. And now everyone who knew her was staring at her with pity because the boss of The Star blatantly kicked herself from the position of secretary. Even though she had worked with Lean for years, and so far there had never been any problems like what she had just faced. Lean is an indifferent boss. That was what Evon stepped up to during her time as her secretary. Many times she tried to lure the man to show his true identity because there were many rumors circulating that he was gay. Ending the conversation with Rebecca, Avelyn immediately got up from her bed to put her cellphone on the nightstand beside her bed. At the same time, the door to her room suddenly opened, revealing Elvis's figure who looked exhausted with his office shirt that were no longer neat like this morning. A suit that is carried carelessly in one hand, a tie that looks already loose, a shirt sleeve that is rolled unsymmetrically between the right arm and the left arm. Avelyn cheerfully welcomed today as her first day of work after taking a leave of absence for her honeymoon. Although it can be said that the honeymoon is not an ordinary honeymoon. How could she even spend her honeymoon with Lean? Sometimes thinking about that makes Avelyn wonder, is actually her husband Elvis or Lean? Avelyn got mad at herself for remembering that. Moreover, last night she had passed quite a long night with Elvis. The man presses her to tell who Michael is. Avelyn sighed out the number of times she waited for Lean to speak to him. They had been on this patio for more than thirty minutes. The patio of a fancy restaurant that Lean ordered with great emotion to the receptionist. Really Avelyn didn't know why Lean's mood had gotten this bad. Even before the shoot started, the man was still so calm and enjoying his attitude that managed to make Avelyn stiffen. But after Avelyn was done with her shoot an hour and a half later, Lean suddenly stopped his car right in front of Avelyn's body who was standing on the road, then told the woman to get into the car with a flat face. Silence engulfed them for a moment. Somehow she had to face the statement Lean had thrown at her. Lean's face now felt unattractive in her eyes. Not that Lean had just told her any of his secrets... or maybe it was a disgrace. She have no idea. What was clear was that Avelyn felt that looking at Lean's face now was not a good choice. Apart from being confused about how to respond to that man's statement, she also didn't know what to do in front of Lean. If she shows a sympathetic face, he may become even angrier because she feels pity. After all, a man has a sky-high ego that is very difficult to break.
