Mr. Ashgar left, leaving me standing there with a formal gesture of farewell in the middle of my living room. My heart was racing; everything was so strange and too good to be true that I needed a reality check. I called my brothers in Mexico and when I told them everything that was currently happening, they were stunned, intrigued, and worried, just like me. "It was too good to be true," Julio asked if he wasn't one of those sheikhs who had their own staff to make people disappear, as they had seen in the news a few months ago.
