Elsie
Elsie smiled from ear to ear as she unlocked her front door. Oliver was next to her, his arms overflowing with takeout boxes from the Chinese restaurant. The smell of sesame chicken and fried rice filled her nostrils, making her stomach rumble.
“I still can't believe the expression on the restaurant owner's faces when they saw us pull up in the tractor,” Elsie said, as she stepped into her apartment and set her new teddy bear down on the chair near the front door. “They looked as us like we had come from another planet.”
“We definitely made an impression,” Oliver said. “They're pr
ElsieHer words fell out of her mouth in one desperate exhale. Oliver turned and brought his lips to hers. No hesitation. Not any more. She moaned softly as their tongues danced. Elsie slowly crawled over the top of him, straddling him, without breaking their kiss. His hands gripped the outside of her thighs as he pulled her firmly over his lap. In an instant, she became wet with desire. This may or may not be the smartest move, she thought.I might fall for him even harder by getting this close to him. But God help me, because I don't care right now. This is all I want.Elsie brought her hands down
OliverOliver sat in the back of the taxi. Two suitcases were next to him, stuffed with all of the clothes he'd brought with him to Iowa. In addition, he'd also packed a few mementos. One of which was the ticket stub from the fair. He wanted something to remember that very special day by. It was the first and last date with the best woman on the planet.“I'll be back in a few minutes, okay?” Oliver said to the driver, opening the rear door.“No problem,” the cabby responded. “I'll wait right here.”“Thanks.”
OllieIt was only ten o'clock and the line of people standing outside the club was so long that it spilled out onto the street. Oliver followed his teammates to the front of the line. The bouncers recognized them immediately and ushered them inside. No wait and no cover charge. Just like always.Joseph wrapped an arm around Oliver's shoulder and they stepped inside, making their way toward the reserved VIP booth in the back. “You don't seem too excited tonight, Ollie. We're here to celebrate the return of our quarterback, so you better get ready to have some fun.”Ollie nodded and forced a smile. “Yeah, I'm re
ElsieElsie laid the last padded mat onto the floor. She took a step back, admiring the new workout room that she'd created for her clients. The equipment that Oliver had given her barely fit into the small space, but she had managed to make it work. It had changed her business from run-of-the-mill to a high-end operation. She couldn't wait to start using it for some of her current clients and already had begun thinking about how she could let the community use it as a gym.Of course, every piece of that equipment was nostalgic to her. The leg press, brought memories of Oliver, and the “torture” she'd inflicted on him in order to get him back into shape. The treadmill, which was a bi
ElsieAfter driving around San Francisco in her rental car for nearly an hour, Elsie finally pulled into the parking lot of The Bandit's training stadium. She wasn't used to spending time in such a big city and it had taken her forever to find it. Luckily, the three gas stations she'd stopped at had very helpful people working there who were happy to point her in the right direction even when her GPS said otherwise.Elsie's plane had landed the evening before and she'd spent most of the night pacing her hotel room. She'd considered calling Oliver at least a hundred times, but talked herself out of it each time. Finally, she'd gone to sleep, with the decision that she'd just show up at his practi
OllieOliver sat at the table across from Elsie. He adjusted his blue tie, loosening it a bit around his neck so that he didn't feel like he was choking. He wore suits for games and as part of his duties as a professional spokesman for the team, but he tried to avoid wearing a tie. Ties felt too formal and fancy for him.But tonight was different. His girl was in town and he'd taken her to finest restaurant within fifty miles, a place called The Ruse. It was located on the beach, just a few hundred feet from the San Francisco Bay. Ollie had never been there, but when he asked his teammates where to take the most beautiful girl in the world to dinner, this was the place that they'd unanimously ag
OllieOliver walked next to Elsie as the two made their way down the hallway to her hotel room. He'd offered to drive them to his place, but she had insisted on going to her hotel instead. She said it was closer than his house and she didn't want to wait any longer than she had to. Of course, Oliver wasn't about to complain. Just watching her walk in that tight black dress of hers made him ache to have her once again. The way her butt moved underneath the thin material was almost too much for him to handle. He couldn't wait to get that dress off of her.Elsie unlocked the door with her room key and they stepped inside. As soon as the door closed behind them, Ollie spun her around to face him. Th
OllieAfter a brutal workout and several hours of grueling training with his team, Oliver was finally home. It was almost nine at night, but it felt much later. Every muscle in his body was sore and the intensity of the drills had renewed a bit of pain in his recovering knee. He did his best to keep his weight off of it as he took a shower and crawled into bed. Sleep was coming soon. He could feel it. But he didn't want to close his eyes until he at least called Elsie to see how her day was.He dialed her up and relaxed into his pillows as the phone rang.“Hello, handsome,” Elsie said, picking up after just two ring
