The mansion felt wrong, too quiet, too still, too aware.

Evelyn clung to Alexander’s arm as they stepped out of the office, both of them breathing like they’d been underwater for too long. Every hallway light flickered at irregular intervals, like the mansion itself had a heartbeat and it was skipping.

Alexander moved fast, not running, but close. He kept Evelyn behind him, his hand wrapped so tightly around hers she couldn’t tell if he was grounding her or himself.

“Stay close,” he murmured.

  • Hate Me Till You Love Me   The Child His Father Chose to Save

“Ask your father why he chose you instead of your brother.”The voice faded, but the words remained. For several seconds, nobody spoke.Elias stood frozen beside the table, his eyes fixed on the closed book. The silver mark on his palm had returned to its original shape, but he could still feel it beneath his skin, pulsing like a second heartbeat. His brother. The word echoed through his mind.He had remembered a son named Cael, a childhood filled with loss, and a doorway he had opened because grief had convinced him that death could be reversed. He had remembered the First King and Lucian standing beside him in the first life. He had remembered the terrible consequences of his decision. But he had never remembered having a brother. Not once.He slowly turned toward the First King.“Did I have a brother?”The First King said nothing.Elias’s expression changed.“I’m asking you a question.”“Yes,” the older man finally answered.Elias swallowed.“What was his name?”The First King lowe

  • Hate Me Till You Love Me   The Mother Who Remembered Everything

“Elias, my son.”The voice lingered in the mansion long after the silver eye disappeared from his palm.Nobody moved.Elias stood at the foot of the staircase, staring at his hand as though it belonged to someone else. The symbol had faded, leaving behind a faint silver scar that curved across his skin like a closed eyelid.Evelyn reached for him.“Sweetheart, look at me.”He raised his head slowly.“Did you hear her?”“Yes.”“What did she mean?”Evelyn hesitated.“I don’t know.”Elias searched her face, looking for the certainty he had always found in her. But Evelyn had no answers. She had spent so long fighting to bring her family back together that she had almost forgotten what it felt like to stand in the middle of a mystery without knowing whom to trust.Alexander approached his son.“Let me see your hand.”Elias held it out.The silver scar remained still.Alexander examined it carefully, turning Elias’s palm toward the morning light.“It doesn’t look like the markings from the

  • Hate Me Till You Love Me   The Husband Who Remembered Her Death

“You died because of me.”Alexander’s words hung in the air, heavier than any threat the creature had made.Evelyn stared at him, unable to understand what she had just heard. His eyes were silver, his expression shattered, and his hands trembled as though he were struggling to hold together something inside himself that had already begun to break.“Alexander,” she whispered. He looked at her.For one brief moment, she saw her husband again. The man who had held her through nightmares, who had stood between her and danger, who had promised that no matter how many times the world tried to tear them apart, he would always find his way back to her. Then the unfamiliar grief returned to his face.“I remember the palace,” he said. “I remember the fire. I remember the day the sky turned black.”Evelyn took a step toward him.“Those are memories from the first life. They don’t change who you are now.”“But I remember you.”His voice cracked.“I remember your face when you realized I had betr

  • Hate Me Till You Love Me   The Brother Who Should Never Have Existed

“Little brother. You’ve taken long enough.”The words echoed through the chamber.Elias stood motionless, staring at the man in the doorway. The stranger had Alexander’s face, Alexander’s eyes, and even the same small scar near his left eyebrow. Yet something about him was unmistakably different. His presence carried a strange warmth, an ancient familiarity that made Elias feel as though he had been standing beside this man his entire life. But he had never seen him before. At least, not in the life he remembered.Alexander stepped in front of Evelyn.“Who are you?”The stranger’s smile faded slightly. He looked at Alexander for a long moment, studying the man who wore his face. Then he laughed softly.“That’s an interesting question.”“Answer it.”The stranger glanced at Elias.“Your son should know who I am.”Elias swallowed.“I don’t.”The man’s expression changed. For the first time, genuine sadness appeared in his eyes.“You really have forgotten everything.”Elias’s hands curled

  • Hate Me Till You Love Me   The Sin Hidden in the First Life

Elias’s scream tore through the mansion.Evelyn threw herself toward the crack in the floor, but Alexander caught her around the waist before she could reach it. The marble beneath their feet trembled violently, and silver light poured through the fractures, illuminating the terrified faces gathered in the corridor.“Elias!” Evelyn screamed. “Elias, answer me!”His scream came again. This time, it ended with a sound that made her blood run cold.Laughter.Not the laughter of a child. Not the cruel amusement of the First King. It was a broken, exhausted laugh, as though someone had finally discovered the answer to a question that had tormented him for centuries. Then came silence.Evelyn struggled against Alexander’s arms.“Let me go! He’s down there!”“I know!”“Then stop holding me!”Alexander released her, and she immediately dropped to her knees beside the crack. She pressed her ear against the cold marble.“Elias, sweetheart, please. Whatever you’ve remembered, you can tell us. Yo

  • Hate Me Till You Love Me   The Thing That Called His Name

“Elias Kane.”The voice rose from beneath the cracked floor, deep and ancient, carrying a weight that made the walls tremble. It did not sound angry. It did not sound frightened. It sounded as though it had been waiting patiently for centuries, certain that the moment would eventually come.Elias stood frozen. The silver light beneath his skin pulsed once. Then again. And with every pulse, the voice became clearer.“Elias Kane. The child who carried what was never his. The boy who opened the door without knowing he held the key.”Evelyn immediately pulled her son away from the crack.“Don’t listen to it.”Elias swallowed hard. “Mother, it knows me.”“It knows your name. That doesn’t mean it knows you.”“But I can feel it inside my chest.”Alexander moved between Elias and the opening. “Whatever you are, you will not touch my son.”A low sound rolled beneath the floor. It was almost a laugh.“Your son?” the voice repeated. “You have called many children your own, Alexander Kane. You ha
