Suspicious

Leila's POV.

I evaded the Alpha's question immediately, I didn't want him to get suspicious of me.

If he did suspect me then there was no way I'd be able to hide anything from them, especially when my secret would be out in the open.

When I turned around and saw that the Alpha had followed me all the way down to the entrance hall then it was clear to me what he was suspicious about me.

I knew he wanted to know what I was hiding from him, if he caught me now, it wouldn't end well for me or the others here.

I picked up my pace, trying to reach the slave quarters immediately.

I could feel his gaze on my back and I knew he followed me for a while.

When I arrived at the last door at the end of the hallway, the slave quarters were located next to me. I made sure that there was no one else around then pushed the door open and slipped through it.

I was happy to not see the head slave there today, nothing made me happier than the fact that she wasn't close.
