"Roman, he warned- no threatened me to stay away from you" Collins explanation leaves me baffled.
What the hell does he mean by Roman threatened him to stay away from me. "This is ridiculous Collins. Are you making this up to draw attention from your mess up tonight?"
"Nah, I did wrong by wasting your time, I agree and I'm apologizing again. But what I just told you about Roman, it's true. You should be careful of him. Words out is that I'm not even the only one he warned off you. He's told all the guys in school to stay away from you"
I'm completely speechless.
I don't know if it's from shock or confusion but I burst out in laughter. Collins stares at me like I've gone insane. I'm just laughing at the absurdity of my situation.

Roman's POV I offer to drive Lindsey home after our conversation and she agrees. I just start the car after we settle into our seats when a loud noise breaks out. I'm a bit startled because it sounds like a wild animal growling. I look beside me and see Lindsey tensed, I would think she was scared due to the sound but she seems to be avoiding my gaze as if she were embarrassed. Roman's POV After dropping Lindsey off I drive home. I'm reeling from different emotions and thinking about what has happened this evening. I had been pissed when Damon called me and told me Lindsey and Collins were on a date together. I felt betrayed, not by Collins but my Lindsey, and I had even started to doubt if I read her wrong and maybe she never liked me. While everyone else is eating food gotten from the cafeteria menu, I'm eating specially packed lunch one of my chefs prepared for me this morning.If I was anyone else, I would get laughed at and ridiculed for bringing my own food like a kid but my friends know better than to mock Roman Masters.
